In Search of my Body...Not The One I ate...#3 "Crowning Goddesses As We Go"

He worked in the office with me yesterday and I was being snippy. He inquired as to why. I informed him of his dirty deed and that I was not happy. He found the whole thing Hi Lar Ious.

I so totally do the same thing. I could be made for DAYS over a stupid dream  I know it's not rational...but...heck. I'm not always rational either

Power to the People

:rotfl2: I know this is a week late...but I just watched it last night...what a big CRY BABY she was up on that platform. Good God woman. I truly have a fear of heights (wait until I tell you my "climbing the pyramid" story... ). and even *I* didn't think that was so bad. Get a grip.

After all this time with Bob....and all the time busting butt at the ranch, and this woman has the NERVE to still say "I CAN'T"? I'm willing to bet that one year from now, she has put her weight back on. She has changed her body, but she hasn't changed HER. :sad2:

Keep it coming. I know, I promised a picture tutorial. As mentioned, hubs was in the office yesterday, so I actually had to work, although I did fit in a little screwing around.

still gotta download the pics off the camera anyway...hopefully today. :rolleyes1

I have volunteered my services at the school to work the Frosty's work shop! People donate new and used and unwanted things. And of course wrapping paper bows tape and the kids pay $1.00 for FOUR gifts!

That is such an awesome idea! :thumbsup2 and I'm sure the kids just have a great time "shopping" and choosing gifts for their families!

I went to the gym early today - just a quick strength workout for me. DD had an orthodontist appt at 8:45...now I have the rest of the day...not sure what exactly I'm going to do...I want to go shopping - but I refuse to go without having any idea at all what I may be after :confused3 I am at a total loss for ideas right now...

I never do her abs part unless it's a challenging one. I usually use a pilates move during that time period of the DVD. I substitute. So if you have a move or see one in level 2 or 3 - substitute it. Especially since it's easy for you. I also substitute because I have found that some floor ab work, with my body anyway, can actually push the ab muscles out if you're not careful. Sometimes non-fit people have flatter stomachs.

It's really nice since it leaves you feeling worked, eh?

Thanks for the suggestions! I don''t need my Abs pushed out!! :scared1: :scared1: I can feel my ab muscles getting firmer, but unfortunately I don't think anything can be done for my stretched skin. I was ALL belly while PG with Delena. Which of course everyone thought was so cute (and made tons of people feel like it was okay touch my bellly), but left me with a huge set of stretch marks and loose skin.:scared1:

Lyz and Nancy, DO NOT get me started on Scientology. I live near Clearwater, which is where their mothership building is. They own so much of the downtown there. DH works for the county and his job is in downtown and he sees them all the time. they walk around in huge groups, all dressed alike, barely talking, smiling or anything. And some are SO SO young. They have their own bus system and most live in these apartment complexes they run. All the comments Tom Cruise made about PPD was what did it for me. Ugh. I put all my movies in the garage sale bin.

Nancy:Totally :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: at the walmart story. Love it.

Steph, The poster pics are SO fake-ish. Definitely not the best. Check out this blog for more real pics.

At the airport, waiting to board!!!

Did you notice I had NO internet? Could read on my iPhone, but only attempted one iPhone post. Nope, no internet for me...Kat and E are possibly more internet addicted than me. I didn't even try to get online! (Not that they wouldn't have let me, and not that they were hogging it. They were lovely, in all respects. Still are!)

So anyway, our trip is at an end. It was wonderful. Really, really wonderful. I had an amazing time and we are already planning the next one. Well, I am!

We are all EXACTLY like we are online. Scary, no? Paula is a dollface, and OMG, Treynor is just as Dawn describes him! Great kid.

We only saw Dan, Dawn, and company once, but we did hang with Paula twice, Sat night and then a nice dinner at Narcoose's on Sunday. And this morning Paula and I had a run and say goodbye moment, where I caught their cab just as they were leaving, and she bounded out and we hugged and I gave her her tiara, crown, to take home. It was awesome.

The whole trip was really so good I can't tell you. I am so happy that I got to do this - I feel so lucky to know these women. Truly, truly.

So, Nancy, welcome back. Love the Mexico stories! Love the Cancun purchase!!!

Amy, I am so bummed we didn't get to meet. We can talk Twilight tonight? Kay?

Lyz, I will call you and pick up where we left off.

Steph, hey girl, how's it going?

Lisa, loved reading all your posts while park hopping. :goodvibes

OMG, we did a double hop yesterday! DHS to Epcot, back to DHS, back to Epcot. I think we get some sort of award for that, no?

And then we went to Raglan Road! We are sooo hardcore.

I think Kat might need to sleep for three of four days, and even Erika is exhausted - more on that later.

Okay, time to board!

xoxo!!!

Safe Trip, Liz!! So sorry I missed meeting you all :sad2: It was just a bad weekend schedule wise. But I did get alot done that needed to get done so that is a good thing.

I am definitely in for the next one and can help plan if needed. I love planning!!:lovestruc

:lmao: Nancy - Congratulations on the purchase. Exciting. Loving your TRs. Lack of Spanish. It reminded me when I lived in Japan and what my students face. When you don't have the language it really makes you feel like you are not all there at times. Like you're little or something. It can very unnerving.

Flat stomach - too funny. I was laughing that I actually said non fit and not unfit. My goodness I'm so off. Big time. I got a call about my time sheets for work directly from my Board of Ed. :scared1: Mistakes on both of them. And big weird ones. Wrong dates. Rambling - my brain is mush.

Amy - no worries about the pushing out by some ab work. It's only certain body types. Really. I have a big curve in my back - so affects the front. Long story. :rotfl:. Loose skin is so frustrating, eh? I was just saying this yesterday that I'll never look as fit as I am because I have thin not bouncing back skin. And Amy - there's no baby here. :rotfl: :lmao: ;) Unfortunately.

Lyz - that's not mental. That's an angry woman, who deserves to be angry, processing crap in her sleep. Totally normal. And please express it. Depression, which I had for years and am out, is anger not expressed. Anger inward. That's what some say anyway. Makes sense with my life. So be careful there. Express it somehow. Doesn't even have to be directly to him. Could be any way I would think. (EDIT: I meant be careful about depression and holding in anger; I wasn't inferring that you are depressed. Just got to get that straight cutie.)

Liz - thank you so much for your update. Have a safe trip. You read my posts between things? How absolutely depressing for you!!!!!!:lmao: :rotfl:

I know about the Paula girl. You can see she's a doll from her pics. Full of life. Good times. So happy for all of you.

Steph - that's so wonderful about your volunteering. Nice.

And the rest of the vacationers Paula, Kat, Erika - safe trip home. Dawn and Dan - hope you have/had by the time you get this of course - a wonderful week.

Lisa

Just got done with the shred awhile ago. Didn't feel quite as bad as it did on friday. I HATE the jumping jacks. I don't know why. Side lunges went better today, but her bicycle crunches at the end killed me. I didn't remember those from the other day.

DD is already awake from her nap. Our furbaby, Cinder, barked her head off while I went outside to get the mail. Um, hello, I'm not a stranger!! She's just in there "talking" though, so she may fall back to sleep. She started saying "this is that" this morning. At least that's what it sounded like.

I made an appointment to get my highlights touched up on Thursday night..I want to look my best for pics at WDW this weekend. I love the red highlights, but I think I am going to go back to more blonde. The reds just don't last.

Well, I have a MOUNTAIN of DD's clothes to fold.

Talk to everyone later

Amy

Hi--I am here with tons and tons to say, of course. But I have not slept, literally. Let me just say HORRIBLE airport issues for me. Long story. Had to get home for an important thing. Nothing to worry about. Will fill you in when I can.

But Like Liz, this was awesome. Just amazing. Wonderful. All of it. Pics and stories galore. When possible.

Right now I have to deal with family stuff and then I have 172 e-mails. Gross. And work to catch up on.

Later.

Hope everything is okay Erika. Hope your father's foot is okay.

Whenever you're recharged - hope you get some sleep at some point. We're very excited to see the whole enchilada in pictures. Thanks for everything that you did for us this weekend.

Frosty's work shop! People donate new and used and unwanted things. And of course wrapping paper bows tape and the kids pay $1.00 for FOUR gifts!

We do that too. It's called the Santa Shop here. It's new junk. Mad went shopping yesterday. According to her, "she found the perfect thing for me" :lovestruc .

Yes, Lyz I am not showering before I leave the house! I always shower right before work that way I am AWAKE for work!

Listen Chief, I the last person to critize shower habits. I'm golden if my hair is washed and leggs are shaved in the same shower.

Ya, wierd.

So lemmie get this straight, Kat was on the internet and didn't say hi? Kat, you are in trouble.

Word. Oh and no-one is allowed to call bankruptcy. Mkay?

I HATE the jumping jacks.

Me too.

Yes! Marvin does that too. Glad I'm past the "nobody wake the baby stage".

EriKa - You must be exhausted! Ok, catch up and then come right back to play. You hold the key to alot of entainment for me. Liz, Kat, Paula - you ladies too. I need stories.

Oh Lyz :lmao: so my eyes stink. And I broke my prescriptions and have drug store readers.

So I saw "changing" and thought :scared1: I don't want to change her. Why does she think I want to change her? I don't want to change her. (Him maybe:lmao: ;) :lovestruc ). Charge. I really wasn't trying to do therapy. Really. It's just that I vividly remember my times. And don't want anyone going there.

Certainly not my cutie. :lovestruc

Hey Lyz - what's a VB poser? Enlighten me.

Hey,

How did I miss Amy's post about the Scientology mothership? Thanks for pasting that Lyz - that's interesting.

Did any of you see Leah Remini's parenting issues on Rachel Ray last year? I'm not usually very harsh in looking at things. Things are not always black and white. People aren't perfect. But :rotfl: all that flew out the window. That was :scared1: . And I had no idea that had anything to do with Scientology. A DISer told us they see kids as "adult minded" - something to the effect that kids know what's best for them innately.

I'm interrupting this thread for a very important public service announcement.

Ok. As you are all, I'm sure, very aware...Biggest Loser is on tonight. Well...looks like America is going to get to vote on who gets to go to the final.

Please, please, please. In the name of all that is good in this world. If there is any option at ALL to vote Vicky OUT...I beg of you...don't miss the golden opportunity. She is so nasty. She does not deserve the chance to be the Biggest Loser!!!

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration....

I will now return you to your thread.

Certainly not my cutie. :lovestruc

Ha, I know.

Hey Lyz - what's a VB poser? Enlighten me.

Victoria Beckham, duh. Don't you read the fashion mags:scared1: . (Who, by the way, I am enthralled with.)

Hey,

How did I miss Amy's post about the Scientology mothership? Thanks for pasting that Lyz - that's interesting.

Lol, I loved the mothership reference!

I love Leah Remini and I did watch. She was not doing that baby girl any good!

Is this peer pressure? Are you trying to manipulate my vote?

Ok. I'm in.

Thanks to Lyz, Lisa, Amy, Nancy, and Steph for keeping things alive and well in our absence.

And YES, what Nancy said...Vicky is awful and evil and hateful. Don't let her win.

More to come.

And no, I am not yet caught up on the thread. But I won't claim bankruptcy, I promise. Cause I'm good like that. ;)

I never watched King of Queens. But I adore Leah Remini. Adore her Lyz. Absolutely. Hysterical woman. That's how powerful she is. I have no idea how I came to love her. when I never watched her show. But wow is all I can say on the parenting. :lmao: :rotfl:

Get this I just found out Tommy boy is mere minutes from me. Mere minutes. Shall I go out and walk the streets? Well, not that way. :lmao: He's being interviewed right now. Yes, Tom Cruise is somewhere in my neighbourhood. :lmao: :rotfl: The irony of it all. From the disboards to downtown Toronto. Tommy boy is here.

He's talking about the Kate right now. He says she's creative. I'd say to overlook some of his statements.

Victoria Beckam. I was going for Vera Bradley and couldn't quite get it. :rotfl: :lmao:

He's lost weight, eh? He llooks different.

Okay, bball is calling me. Lebron is on us. Uh oh.

Wait!!!

Before I go - just caught this - Lyz - why are you enthralled with Ms. Beckham? Curious.

Hi Erika - good to hear ya.

IVictoria Beckam. I was going for Vera Bradley and couldn't quite get it. :rotfl: :lmao:

:rotfl2: k...time to admit, that's what I was thinking too :confused3

And no, I am not yet caught up on the thread. But I won't claim bankruptcy, I promise. Cause I'm good like that. ;)

yeah. I caught up with nearly 20 pages <phew>...it's a lot of work to go away

but at least your Christmas shopping is done...:headache:

Oh, and by the way, I am changing my last name to Cullen so that I can pretend that I am married to Edward.

Lyz...I need you to be reading this book with me. I know that you are in the middle of another series. You have to break pattern and start this series. And I know that Mol is reading it...but you can both read it at the same time. Just use two bookmarks. And you read when she isn't around or is asleep or whatever. Drink the kool-aid. It is SO yummy.

Okay, so I totally don't have to claim bankruptcy, because I was literally reading the thread waiting on lines for rides (which were pretty non-existent) and on lines for beer (more popular). And Erika and Kat are pretty up to date, too. I pointed out the general scheme of things to them.

I'm home. Got home to a county-wide blackout. I was on the phone with Kat when I realized all stoplight were out! Scary stuff. Luckily I had already picked up dinner, and came into the house lit with candles. Nice!

Power is back on, thankfully.

So, ladies, I am ready to talk Twilight anytime. I am on the last book now! And VB...oh, good story for you.

On the plane today, I sat next to a nice couple in their late 40's. The woman was reading Twilight. We talked about it for a bit. She's not into it totally, but she enjoyed it. On and off, we discussed the series and books. Then we landed and I pulled out my VB mini-hipster, and my VB carry on with matching cosmetic bag. The woman looked at me, and smiled..."Is that your enitre Vera Bradley collection, or just a small sampling?" she asked. I cracked up and admitted to my VB obsession! I also told her I had to tell my girlfriends immediately about this. How funny is it that this woman sat next to me for two hours and got an earful on two of my most recent obsessions - Twilight and VB??? And seriously, am I that easy to call out as a VB addict? :lmao:

As for weight...did not track. If you look at the pictures, you can see that I start out much thinner than I end up! By Monday, I am slightly more chunky. :rotfl: We ate so well, great restaurants and good food. And lots of laughing. I sound like a 5 pack a day smoker, that's how shot my voice is. I blame the good conversations, not just the cold I've been battling for days.

Tomorrow is weigh in, and WW is launching a new program this week. So I am going to go in, weigh in, and start again.

So. Want me to keep talking about the trip? Tell me what's going on, besides Tom Cruise!
