Okay, I am caught up now!! We didn't get much down time during the weekend, and I got behind enough to be too scared to come here and not have enough time to go through everything. The only internet I got was some work email to make sure that everything was okay here since I thought I *majorly* messed some things up here on Thurs/Fri with trying to get ready to go. I was as much of a hot mess as Erika by the time I left here on Fri at about 2:30, which was an hour later than planned, but it worked out pretty well to pick up both of them at the airport.
Thankfully, my boss had just overloaded me on purpose to make sure I didn't wind up idle, and the to-do list that I thought I had messed up on wasn't really what he had expected of me. So, instead of getting chewed out today, he actually bought a coworker and I lunch. Yay, such a relief!! I like him, and this job, a lot and I was quite worried that I had screwed things up.
The trip was FANTASTIC. I am tired as crap right now but it is SO worth it. And yes, Erika is the energizer bunny. Holy geebus. She has just as much energy in person as you would think she does.
And I agree, Paula, Liz, E, exactly like they are in the thread. Except Paula might be a bit snarkier in person, which I LOVED. And her pictures do NOT do her justice.
Liz, loved your stories about the rides.

I always want to say WTH to people who are online for a ride and have no idea of what they are online for...don't you read guidemaps, signs???
This whole story actually started a few trips back for me. D and I were in line for Space Mountain and there were two 20-somethings in front of me. One says to the other, "What does this ride DO?" His friend replies, "Not sure. I think this is the one with the Yeti." YETI?!? On Space Mountain? And how can you NOT KNOW what Space Mtn does??
I told Liz and E the story early on and then it was lived on practically every ride we went on. Just confirms my idea of how much stupidity walks through the world every day.
Although, I have to admit, I didn't know what the Osborne Lights were. I had heard of them but never planned a Christmas trip due to D's schedule and hadn't researched it ever.
So the "Rock me, Steven" quote/story...SO funny.
K and I decide to do RnR Coaster in the single rider line since it will only take 5 minutes. So I end up sitting next to this total mom type from Iowa. I mean she was just, like, precious. She was wearing this pink pastel sweatshirt with little kittens on it or some such sh*t. And a little blond bob cut. And just wholesome as pie, kwim? And I am chatting with her (her husband and son were in front of us), and asked her if she had done this ride before and such.
Anyway, we are right at the point where we were about to take off and she just sort of closes her eyes and says, "Rock me, Steven." And then we shoot into the darkness of the ride and she is head banging to "Dude Looks Like a Lady." OMG, it was f'ing hilarious.
People...OMG, some people. Like, who ARE this people who spend upwards of 3K on a Disney trip and have no idea what World Showcase is???? Have they never heard of the Internet? We hated all of the stupid people. All of them.
Other fun tidbits...LIZ....now we know that Liz loves fashion and shopping, right? Well, any time Liz's energy would dip or her happiness started to flag, K and I would just send her into a store and show her some shiny things and SHAZAM she was right back up and happy and full of love and light. Shopping is 10 times more powerful for her than is caffeine. It was fun-ny.
The CM in charge of beer in England (her name was Georgia) learned to recognize us due to our frequent stops.
ToT--I screamed like a little girl. Liz and I held on to each other and screamed and swore because we were so scared. And then said how much we loved the ride.
And remember when (these stories still to come)....
--I climbed in bed with Liz?
--Kat wore a tiara?
--Liz wore hot pink sweat pants in the MK?
--Liz was actually comfortable with the temperature?
--We had transportation karma?
--I couldn't find my cell phone or my annual pass or.....?
--When I made us WALK from DHS to Epcot? Buses are for wimps.
--When we watched and illegal download of Twilight?
--We adopted Donna (Paula's sister)?
--Paula did a tequila shot with me?
--When I had sparkles all over my face?
--Liz made us do Ellen's Energy Adventure?
Oh, and this is just the beginning.
The sparkles! We were trying to find a shirt that we all liked, and E tried on one that literally rained sparkles down when you shook it. She was trying to get it all over me (the attempt at girliness-transfer), and instead, COVERED her face in sparkles that withstood every attempt at removal. I called it karma.
So after Erika wanted to throw me in the Small World and Kat wanted the
crocs to eat me, I finally got sweatpants. I tried on brown ones. Yuck. I tried on black ones. Kat just about threw herself in front of those. So I ended up with hot pink Tink sweats. With flip flops. In the MK.
Yes. Oh the shame. The shame.
Thankfully, my friends could laugh at me. Because otherwise they'd kill me.
The black ones made her look 65 and in a track suit. Just sayin'.
And for the record, I told her to wear jeans in the first place. Erika, optimistic (and warm at 55 degrees). Kat, realist.
Good morning.
Liz--just want to say thank you for the cold. It's a lovely one and fits perfectly.
Kat--haven't heard from you and you didn't answer your cell yesterday...please let me know that you got in ok.
Amy--now see, that pic just does not seem like Edward to me. Way too scruffy. Edward is perfect, right?
I had no missed calls?

Must have been the lovely coverage in South Carolina. I texted at about 8:30 last night when I got home.
Off to weigh in. Bad morning all around. Awful. The kind that makes you question your life. kwim? Well, off to WW and then maybe I might have to crash. As if. I so need to lose this cold, though.
Bad morning here too. Reality sucks.
Weighed in today - best move ever! at 161 exactly. That is only 4lbs up from my lowest, and this is trip and Thanksgiving combined. Trip weight was only .8 . I am super pleased. I have 4lbs to lose to make it to 80lbs lost - I'm 76 lbs down right now - and that is an awesome, doable goal.
So, ladies. Where are you? What is your total weight loss? Let's cheer those numbers, how far we've come. This time and previous. Total weight loss from heaviest weight EVER. Hit me. Lyz, you wanna make a list of it? You are list queen.
I'm 76lbs. Go me.
SO awesome. I am afraid to weigh.
