In search of creative way to trade credit card reward points for US tickets

I know the experts on this board will have the answer I've been trying so hard to find. What is the most cost efficient way to trade credit card reward points for US tickets? We are just going for one day, but want both parks. In the past, this was the best deal ever - but it seems, at least with the card we have - that the prices "point totals" have gone up a lot for these tickets. Does anyone have any great ideas?

usually it is a better deal to use the points for a product.

you come out ahead instead of using the points for cash back.

or at least that is how it is with my chase freedom cc.

We had a LOT Of points banked. We are going in a couple of weeks when it is crowded for spring break, and i couldn't fathom going through that trip without express passes. Also, I wanted to take advantage of the buy two, get the third day free offer. I looked into buying express passes but for five of us, for three days, I was looking at $1025. I looked at staying onsite, but it was $369 a night. I could redeem points for tickets but they didn't have that same 3 for 2 day deal that way...lit was all single day tickets. Soooooo, i redeemed points and got two nights at royal pacific, which also got us unlimited fast passes for all three days!! When I managed to snag that I was thrilled! I don't know if it was the best trade or not, but it got me something that I was not going to spend the money on otherwise.

better than doing a cash back procedure.
