In Room Surprises-- Logistics, Renting DVC Restrictions, etc???

Since I have never stayed onsite before I wanted to do something special for DH for our anniversary trip. We are renting points and staying at Boardwalk.

Does anyone know if I were to order a package or like champagne and chocolate from the Disney Floral people, would they be able to have it in our room when we arrive? Or since somethings I read say that sometimes CMs don't know what room you will be in prior to check-in is official, so would it be delivered later after dinner/while we are out sort of thing?

Also, does anyone know if that is even possible due to the renting and if I would even be able to arrange anything beforehand or if I would have to wait until I check in and the reservation technically is mine? I have a confirmation number with our last name attached to it, but I read somewhere that you shouldn't deal with Disney directly until you check in.

Anyone have any experience with this?

It doesn't really matter that you are a renter, the reservation is yours from the time that it was booked, you can set up anything you want, you just can't modify the reservation it is controlled by the owner. Disney Floral will deliver to Bell Services and they will hold any deliveries until your room is ready. Bell Services will deliver and you need to be in the room, they want a tip. If you ordered an in room celebration, Disney Floral will deliver it on your 2nd day, enter your room while you are out, decorate the room at the time that you request, no tip required.

If you order alcohol does someone have to be there to accept the delivery (and show an ID)?
