In Room Gifts

I have friends that will be travelling in May and celebrating a birthday and also Mother's Day. Looking at the gifts on the website and do plan to send the celebration cake to them for the birthday.

Who has also tried to purchase flowers or something that is not listed on the website? I will call but wanted to get feedback from anyone on the in-room gifts.
