Hi,
This trip I will have a baby with us. Is it possible to order room service from Jiko and how do I order....in case we need to go back to resort room early.

The Room Service menu has a few African-inspired entrees, but I'm not sure that you can order something from Jiko itself. You may want to call the lodge directly to find out.

It's hard with with a baby to know whether or not they're OK for a sit-down meal. Another option might be to book an early dinner, and if you kiddo is a little too restless during the meal, you or your spouse can take him/her back to the room while the other gets the dinner wrapped up to go. Not a perfect solution, I know ...

While we were at AKL last month, the room service menu was from Jiko, the same menu as the restaurant plus some other American entrees, burgers, sandwiches. There is a room service number to call. They use 2 TS coupons for room service, and since Jiko is 2 it didn't seem like a bad deal. We didn't do room service, but I did look at the menu as we were considering it.

You can always order from Jiko to go. We have called down before and picked up the food and taken it back to the room. The flat breads work great for this and you save all the costs of actual room service.

Just an idea anyhow.
