In-room cake delivery for all stars resort???

I was wondering any one who has previously stayed at an allstar resort ordered and had any kind of special occasion dessert delivered to their room.

I have checked out the cake thread, but theres not alot of information on the allstars. I wanted something like a chocolate covered strawberry plater delivered with Sparking Cider to the room for DH's birthday.

I don't want to have to pick anything up at the GF or the bakery on the Boardwalk.

Can you please let me know if you have done this and who to contact???

I think I 99.9 % sure when I say this that they only do this at the Deluxe resorts.

The Disney florist will deliver the sparkling cider - they have several baskets and things available. They also deliver chocolates - but I don't believe they deliver cakes or fresh strawberries.

I emailed the disney florist about a week ago and still havent heard back from them

If you have the number for your resort you could call them direct and see if they are able to help you with this request, if they can't I have seen several posts about gift baskets being delivered, Memories by betsy is one of the ones I have seen mentioned, Good luck

1) These are Room Service items.
2) No Room Service at Value resorts.

I don't believe that any vendor delivering gift baskets can include food or beverages by Florida State law.

There are certain perks available at deluxe resorts that are not available at mods and values. This may be one of them, sorry!

I think you will need to call Boardwalk Inn or Grand Floridian direct to talk with bakery managers. They will take your order and deliver it to restaurant of your choice or u can pick it up. BTW we stay at deluxe resorts and for 3 of us room service for breakfast was 90 dollars. We didn't do that again.

Chocolate Strawberries are sadly only available at the Deluxe Resorts...but, like a previous poster said, the Disney Florist is an option. I've used them before and they do a really good job! (I'm not sure we're allowed to post a direct link, but if you do a search on google for "Disney Florist," it will be the first one that is shown!)

I think I may have found a solution

I believe the Main Street Confect. sells chocolate covered strawberrys and I do believe that the gift shop at the All Stars sell the sparkling cider, so I plan on picking those up the night we are in MK (have to send DH to get something while doing this) and make a stop in the store on our way back to the room!
