"In Plain Sight" (USA TV show) Season 3!!! (Spoilers)

Yay! One of my favorite TV shows is back.

Mary Shannon is so sassy, funny, cool & tough.
Her family is as neurotic as ever.
Rafe is still smoking hot.
And Marshall is. . . well Marshall.

Anyone else glad this is back and watching, too?


New episodes of In Plain Sight first airs Wednesdays at 10 pm. Then, same episode again at 1 am, (in case your DVR is set to record something else during 10 pm.)

I LOVE this show. It is the one show that I have to watch every week.

Its going to be a very intense adn crazy season especially since they are supposed to be planning their wedding!!

I totally love In Plain Sight! Thanks for the reminder, time to set my TIVO!

My only complaint is I find the background story of her mother and sister to be totally annoying. I hope they lower their input this year, all the whining just gets under my skin and I find myself fast forwarding through their dialogue. I like strong female leads, the wimpy characters just put me off. I like that the Closer doesn't do this at all, instead of giving Brenda a mushy family to give a sense of depth they gave her a cat, same goes for Saving Grace. I would rather if they gave her a big mush of a dog to show her softer side or more likable family members. Maybe a long lost brother she didn't know about who is a mess but tells good one liners... think Tracey Morgan.

I wonder how far they will get. It took about 6 months for Rafe to get her to even say yes.

I think Mary's big mush is Rafe. He's there for her when she comes home at night. Now that he really knows what she does, he can be even more there for her.

Also, instead of a long lost brother showing up, I think it will be her dad. The season premiere was titled, "FATHER GOES WEST." But, he only was mentioned twice (?) in this episode. When Mary remembers what she was wearing when he left. And when Brandi asked for more info about him. . .

I can't wait to see allison janney on the show....getting her and mary back together is going to be great! They were so funny together on west wing.

That will be fun! It's interesting how the actor who played Mary's boyfriend on The West Wing, is now Brandi's boyfriend.

Do people know that Mary McCormack's brother, in real life, has also been on the show a few times? He played the FBI agent who arrested Brandi on the drug charges and then trashed Mary's house looking for the drugs.

Ooooh! Bicker, you can find out how many episodes there are already? Can you find out how many Criminal Minds episodes there are this season? Each season there have been a different (and increasing) amount. Last season was 25 episodes. I thought the norm was 26 episodes? And that we'd get that many this season.

But, lately, they've started showing reruns every couple weeks for two episodes at a time. This time, they showed 3 in a row. It's like they are running out of new episodes to last the full season, so they are eeking them out.


BTW, for those who don't know, Criminal Minds is on right before In Plain Sight, on CBS. We have a great thread for that show, too. Complete with yummy eye candy pictures.

I didn't know Allison Janney would become more or less a regular on the show! It was good to see her.

It seems they are getting rid of Brandi for a while. Maybe this season they will focus less on Mary's neurotic family aspect.

I LOVE this show!!! And its filmed here in New Mexico!! Sometimes when I am visiting DD21 (in ABQ) we see them filming.

That's so cool, Linda! I interviewed in ABQ a few years ago, and spent an afternoon walking around Old Town. So, when they showed that whole area on this week's episode, I could go, "I was there, and there, and there...!" In HD, it's really beautiful. (Wish I was there today with our 4" of snow...)
