In-park Bar to meet up with friends?

Hey, all!

With our trip closing in (38 days and counting, I believe!), I've been thrown a new question by my family and could use a little help.

My mom and dad have friends who will be at Disney one night while we're there, and my folks would like to get together for drinks (and maybe snacky bits). My first thought is to go to Epcot (possibly Rose & Crown, the tequila bar or La Hacienda de San Angel). Are there any other nice places to go for a drink in Epcot? Do any of the other restaurants have separate bars?

We could also get together in one of the other parks... for example, the bar at Prime Time 50's Cafe in MGM.

Since we're not all staying at the same resort (some at Pop Century, some at Riverside, some at Fort Wilderness), it seems like it'd be kind of a pain to get everybody to a resort, transportation wise.

Gimme your thoughts, folks! I'm open to suggestions/favorites!

If they don't mind standing, both the Rose/Crown Pub and Tequila Cave are good choices. Seating is very limited so you can't go there expecting that you will be able to get one of the 4 tables in each place. Both places are a lot of fun.

Besides 50's PTC, the only other in park bar I know of is the Dawa Bar at AK. It's outside so it would probably not be on my list in February. Or they could also try to get a seat at Yak N Yeti.

The resort bars are usually easier to find seating. If Epcot is on the list, they could always walk over to the Crew Cup Lounge at Yacht Club. We have done this often. We've always been able to get a table or booth there.

World Showcase sounds like a great way to go - you can wander the world and stop for drinks and snacks as you all want.

If you are at Epcot, I would second the idea of the Crew Club lounge at the Yacht Club. You can walk or take the water transportation directly from Epcot to the hotel.

I have done this in the past. You can check the food offerings at the lounge on allears.net.

Have a great trip.:cool1:

Have to say PP have really summedn this up. R&C in the park or BC/YC/BW just outside International Gateway.

Raglan Road at Downtown Disney. Easy to get to using Disney transportation.

Rose and Crown is a great place to meet for a drink, but doesn't have much room to sit. The 50's Prime Time is a fun bar, but tends to get crowded with people waiting for dinner. If you are staying any where near the Swan and Dolphin, the bar/lounge area at Il Mulino in the Swan is really nice. You can order appetizers, too.

Where ever you go, have fun!!!:)

Jellyrolls! Grab a snack on the Boardwalk beforehand, then settle in for a night of fun! :thumbsup2
