As some of you know, I went back to college in my late 30s. I graduated in May and I got my first teaching position late August. I am very fortunate and I really love it. I have a great group of kids and a lot of support at work.
But, I think I have hit my peak- I am exhausted. I am just going to whine a bit here
but I leave for work at 7am and return home at 5pm. I usually have plans, grading, etc to do at home as well. I have two busy teenagers and DH usually doesn't get home from his job until 8:30 pm.
As I mentioned, I LOVE my job and I am SO very lucky to have it having just graduated. What I need is some suggestions to gain some energy back. I get home and I am both physically and mentally exhausted. I am hoping that it is the time of year. We have no breaks from January to Easter, grades just went out, and testing is in a few weeks. It has been a long cold winter too. We had a few warm days and I got a burst of energy but that was lost when the cold breeze and rain started back up.
I hope I don't sound ungrateful for what I have-I really love what I am doing! I just need a "boost of energy!"
