In Memory of my dog Twinkles Sylvester

Twinkles came into my family before I was born. In 1989 my mom got him at the local pet store. In 1995 me and my brother were born and he took such good care of us. The next year my baby brother Bailey was born. On March 11,2007 he died of Kidney Failure. The next week my family found out it was the dog food recall. We fed him the brand of IAMS.
Curse you IAMS I hate you so!
He may have been old and his time was obviously gonna come soon but he should've lived longer then that.
I got a new labrador(Twinkles was a beagle) his name is Raponui and he is just so cute, he may seem like he's replacing Twinkles he is not. He is so cute. He was born March 11,2007. Compare that date to the date when Twinkles died!
Its the same day!
I'd like to hear people reading this thread because Twinkles was a miracle.

How sad for those who lost their pet thru the food incident. I'm so sorry. Our mom makes our dogs food now, so we dont have to depend on food companies to keep him alive.

Im sure you love your new best friend He'll never replace your old buddy but he will find his own special place in your heart

Hi there so sorry for your loss. I have lost a dog an it is really tough. Each has its own personality. We love them each differently. When I first lost Sparkie I cried for a month. I could not talk about her without crying. As time went on I was able to remember all the fun and smiles she brought me.

I also left I memorial to her on pet loss web site. I made a collage of her from puppy to the last pic we had of her. And typed out the rainbow bridge to put with the pics. She is always thought of and some day when it is my time to leave this earth I know I will see her again at rainbow bridge And at Christmas we put a stuffed angel dog on our tree

Aww, so sorry for your loss! I have lost a few pets including dogs, so I know how bad that feels -- they're a part of your family. I'm sure your new dog will bring you just as much joy as Twinkles did.
