Just listened to the recent Universal show/podcast (amazing work as always guys), and I was fascinated about some comments regarding what makes Universal Studios "the red-headed stepchild" of Orlando theme parks and what makes WDW great.
****Please note: this is not a Universal-hating or Universal-bashing thread.**** I LOVE UNIVERSAL, and I have not seen WWOHP nor have I gone on FJ, so I have no right to comment on those.
Rather, this just brings up what is so great about Walt Disney World. In David Koenig's book, "Realityland -- true life adventures at Walt Disney World," I believe he sums up the magic (and success) of Disney, on page 60:
"They (Disney company) did -- and spent -- whatever was necessary to please the guest in hopes of creating customers for life, who would spread the word to all their friends. It was the Disney way...
