In dollars, or as a percent of your car rental budget, what is Emerald Isle worth?

And your point about 9 out of 10, how many of them have actually rented from Hertz with a free gold membership? Or are they just passing along "stories that they have heard" but not experienced for themselves?

Safetymom,

3 very close friends of mine each travel for their occupation and accumulate over 300,000 FF miles per yr. They have all the rental cars top programs(National,Hertz,Budget,Alamo, etc) cards. They all prefer an on-site location at the airport. I think I would trust somebody that flys 2-3 times per week, and uses rental cars constantly, in there opinion of which is quicker (National vs Hertz). All 3 of my friends say it isn't even a decision at Orlando's airport, they all prefer "National".
Compared to a person that flys 1-2 times per yr:rolleyes: .
You are correct about choices at MCO or any other airport, but most of us would prefer the quicker and most convenient one(National at MCO);)

I didn't know that I had to qualify all the Frequent flyer programs that I belong to when I went to post my opinions. I also didn't mention how many times a year that I fly. I also travel weekly for my business. I was just offering my opinion.

I guess in the future when some one asks a question about this subject I will ignore it. If you all think that National is the only way keep thinking that way. Others will know that there is another way.

Is there some reason that we all have to use National???? I don't think so.

As I said before I don't think that National is necessarily the quickest.

Everybody is entitled to there own opinion.........we have each given ours. Let everybody make there own decision. ;)
