So I know that Home on the Range is one of the most reviled movies in the animated canon, but I simply cannot fathom why. I find it hilarious and delightful. Here are reasons it rocks:

-What other movie cast can boast Roseanne Barr, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Jennifer Tilly, AND Judi Dench?

-Vigilante cows going after a rogue cattle rustler. I mean, WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

-A soundtrack with original songs by Bonnie Raitt and k.d. lang!

-One of the trippiest psychedelic song-n-dance routines since Dumbo!

-Estelle Harris as a chicken named Audrey.

-"Put up yer dukes, Mr. Fancy-Britches!"

-An original story.

-"He's a pioneer pied piper in ten gallon underpants!" and "He drives them doggies well, which ain't easy when your chaps are labeled XXXXL!" I mean, that's quality lyric-writin', right thar.

I rest my case.

That was one of my favorite movies back when it came out! Still have it around here somewhere on DVD. Didn't care for the music, but it was entertaining

It was because of Barr's comment on the Passion of Christ and what she said about Christians and other religions besides her own.
