We swam, outside, during a December trip. It was warm enough to swim, but not warm enough to lounge next to the pool after swimming. We pretty much got out of the water and RAN back to our room.

I'd only care if there was a hot tub, personally. It's not that warm in December, and you probably won't want to swim, unless there's an indoor pool.

We always swim in December, in the pool and the ocean. :yay: Not having a pool would matter to us.

I would say no, but we live in So Cal and anything under 75 is too cold for the pool for me. It matters if you have kids and if swimming is an important part of their vacation experience. I agree about the jacuzzi though, it matters. But, last Dec I simply soaked my aching feet in the bathtub for twenty minutes cause it was too cold for me at night at the hottub:rolleyes1

I have swam in December, it was about 80 a couple of our days and it was great. However, the month before we were also at DL and couldn't swim at all because it was freezing! You just never know what the weather will do. I always stay near DL and all of the motels there have pools. Its nice to know we can if we want.

Now everyone needs to stop this planning for the second week of december, that's when we are going and I do not want crowds..... :rotfl: :hippie:

Same here I agree.. Other weeks in December are good to go too haha.. We are planning on going the 9th thur 15th

I wouldn't care. I love to swim, but on my trips I spend most of the time at the park or sleeping.

OOOh a hot tub would be nice though.

I went last Christmas and I didn't use the pool let alone see it but the temps were definetly warm enough in the afternoon to go swimming.:)
