In between 7 and 11 for BLT

We closed on a resale at BLT and hoping to get my Member number in the next week or so. I am aiming for an early June reservation at BLT. Eleven months has passed and seven is looming in early November.

What has been BLT owners experience with after 11 months but before 7 months availability in terms of room, view and length of stay?

I am trying to plan my time off and thinking of pushing reservation back to end of July if if availability is going to be difficult.

Early June is a moderate DVC demand time. Standard view at BLT is category that disappears the fastest once the 11 month window opens and for early June, it will likely be gone for a number of nights before you can reserve. Theme Park view is likely to be open although there is some risk the studio may have one or more nights missing. Lake view will be open (even somewhat beyond 7 month window when seeking June time). Note that pushing back to end of July will give you a better chance for standard view but it could still be gone.

Thanks....that is what I was thinking, but was weighing the benefits of waiting.

I was hoping to do a Star Wars Weekend with the Florida Garrison and the week I was looking at would be one of the weekends IF they are the same time frame as they have historically.....2014 dates have not yet be announced.

Probably going to shoot for a lake/TP view anyhow (first visit to new "HOME")

However, if I was going to wait list or get four of the six nights, I was looking to push it off till end of summer and book at 11. My boss is trying to schedule 2014 time off before the end of the year and wanted to know my schedule. I don't have dibs on a particular time, and I can't overlap with other folks. So the earlier I got on the schedule, the better.
