Important GOLDEN EARS

I am reporting live from the beautiful WDW coranado springs resort! Where can I buy golden mickey ears from at epcot or downtown disney and will get a code for ears on vmk? Please can you tell me any info about WDW resort codes?

The only place that I know of you can buy the ears is from "Le Chapeau" at the Magic Kingdom. It is right inside the park. You will get the VMK code then.

I bought a pair of regular Mickey ears and was given the code for golden ones instead. I didn't care, but I thought it was odd.

You don't have to buy a certain one. IT says buy a real hat and you earn golden mickey ears.

you get the black ears from creating your character in the park--

gold ears from buying the ears

I only purchased the golden ears so I wasn't sure if you got the code with any hat or just with the golden ears

Does anyone know where to buy the hats at Disneyland or Califonia Adventure?

The only ones I know of for sure in Disneyland are The Mad Hatter Shop on Main Street and the one in Fantasyland. There could be other locations though.

You can also get it in Tomorrowland shop.

Yes you can get the codes at the Hatmosphere in Tomorrowland. I believe you can also get them at Mad Hatter on Main Street, but don't quote me on that. Also the Cast Members are quite accomodating if you bought a hat at a different location and if you bring your receipt they'll give you a VMK card. I did that with the pins I bought at the Emporium. We walked over to Store Command and they gave us the VMK cards with no questions asked!
