Impact to 180+10 ADRs if cancel resort reservation?

Today was my 180+10 day for the F&W trip I'm taking with my BFF in November. After staying up late, then getting up early, and getting all our reservations, my BFF has now decided that he doesn't want to stay onsite.



If I cancel our onsite room-only reservation, will there be an issue with our ADRs? Do I need to wait or can I cancel right away?

Also, the card I used to make the room reservation has since been cancelled due to the Target problem. Is there going to be a way to get my money back since they can't return it to my card?

Thanks for any help anyone can give! I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the Resort board, but hopefully someone can help!

If you did not completely cancel the account, but just got a new card with a new number, Disney will refund the card and it will go back to your account.

I had a similar issue locally, made a purchase on old card, 3 weeks later need to return item. Had to tell the clerk I shredded original card and that account doesn't exist anymore. She took new card number and credited back to new number.

But, I also agree that credits back to old account should work because the 2 accounts should be linked at the creditor level.
