We are driving to WDW from TN tomorrow and leaving for home Monday the 2nd. 80% chance of storms every day we are there except for one day. I know pop up storms are a daily occurrence in Florida summer afternoons...we can deal with 2-3 hours of storms but are hoping for not a whole day wash out. Now I’m seeing some projections of Dorians path including Florida on Saturday night/Sunday. Anyone else concerned yet or is it too early? I know a lot can change in this time frame...

not really, so long as Dorian remains a TS and I don't plan to fly on Saturday or Sunday (it'll be Wednesday and he should be gone by then.) If Dorian stays on the track then yes, you may end up with a lot of rain at least one day. Parks don't close for a TS, but outdoor rides may close, fireworks could be cancelled if there is enough wind, and some forms of transportation (boats...maybe the monorail?) may not run.

As long as it does not affect travel, I'll find something to do, since the weather is still something Disney can't control.

We just cancelled our hotel reservations at Gran Destino- had planned to stay from Sunday thru Tuesday; we live in Boca which is a three hour trip up to Orlando. Just don't want to take a chance with Dorian, even if it's just heavy rains... luckily we live in Florida and can come another time!

Everyone reacts differently. Being in the parks in constant rain sounds miserable to me. I also hate driving in storms. Other people are not bothered.

Just keep an eye on it and do what you are comfortable with.

meh, we had a storm last night thay will be worse than what this will bring

I think we'll know a lot more tomorrow as far as more certainty on strength and path

Don't cancel any plans yet people. It's been tracking ever more slightly north.

The negative, this storm is missing pretty much all the islands which didn't seem possible yesterday, which is why it is now supposed to be a Cat 2/3 hurricane
