Has anyone noticed (especially those with longer stays) a reduction of fp+ availability at say 60+5 or more? Just curious what impact, if any, the 90 day fp+ available to cl had has so far.

I believe they come from different pools, so yes, no impact at all.

Even if they were the same pool, the amount of available FPs vs. the number of all club level guests, then segmented to the number willing to pay $50 per person per day (with a three-day minimum) would have an extremely negligible effect on any availability.

I was wondering about this as well. Now that MaxPass is being rolled out at DL it’s only a matter of time before it comes to WDW.

Small clarification in that the three “Regular” FPs that you can also book at 90 days out for the days you’re paying for the program do come from the regular FP pool.

But I agree with you in that the numbers are too small to matter. There are roughly 1,000 eligible rooms... even at max occupancy/guest count and max utilization of the program, those are pretty small guest count numbers relatively speaking. And my guess is only a small fraction of the eligible guest population have actually paid for / are using this trial program on any given day.

All Max pass at DLR does is allow you to book FPs on your phone instead of going to the FP machine. Without max pass you can not book FPs on your phone or online like you do for WDW. Also, max pass goes with the original FP schedule (not FP+), so you must enter the park before you can book a FP, and you can only have one FP booked at a time. So really, all it does is save you from walking to the machines. When you enter the gate if you do it immediately, you can get ahead of the crowd rushing to the machines, and also once you scan in at a ride you can book your next pass right there on your phone which means you get a little faster access to what is available at that point in the day than if you had to wait to get off the ride and go to the machine. . It also gives you your photopass photos for that day. I don't see WDW doing anything similar--- my bigger fear is that Max Pass could change into something more like WDW.

I was under the impression it was just a paid version of FP+. Thanks for the clarification.

I wish Maxpass would come to WDW so we could get rid of FP+! Maxpass sounds a lot like more of the old FP system but instead of paper fp's, it's using more technology. Would love that!

I have seen no impact of the club level fp on the normal fp. In fact, snagged several FoP, SDD, and other top attractions with zero problems for July.
