Tony's Town Square (MK) Lunch
This is one of Evan's favorites for lunch, and actually, we all enjoy it. We were seated once again in the outer room, where the windows face Main Street. It's a lovely room, but the atmosphere was .. less than perfect, to put it nicely <g> this time .. only because there was a group of a couple women, and one small, but VERY loudly SCREAMING baby in there. I may catch some flack for writing this! LOL but .. I don't care! If your child is honestly, really positively SCREAMING it's little head off, WHY do people INSIST on subjecting everyone else to this??? Especially when there are other adults at the table too, and you could "switch off" and take turns either walking the child around outside, or find it something to eat/drink .. whatever!! The waiter kept apologizing for the ruckus, and of course it wasn't his fault! and I told him so.

Anyway, on to the meal ..it was great as always! We got a couple orders of the Fried Mozzarella to start -their's is particularly good!! I also love the bread and dipping sauces they have on the table, so that was all plenty for appetizers. For the main course, I had a Chicken in a lemon, garlic & white wine sauce, over linguine, that was very good. It wasn't too heavy either. Alec got the appetizer Fried Calamari for his meal, which was terrific! I love the sauce that accompanies this too. Evan had a pizza, and Dave had the Spaghetti & meatballs, and both enjoyed theirs also. NO desserts this time! LOL Everyone was far too full.

Prime Time Cafe (MGM) Dinner
This is another one of the boys choices, and a very good one it was this time! We had a couple of GREAT, very lively, funny servers, which was perfect, especially for Alec, since this was his first time here. We ordered the Fried Cheese w/the raspberry type sauce for an appetizer (I love cheese, as you can all tell now from these reports! LOL) but just one .. I KNOW how large the portions are here, so I didn't want to spoil my dinner. For the main course, I got one of my all time fav's - Fried Chicken & Mashed Potatoes!LOL Theirs was excellent!! Came with some nicely flavored green beans too. Evan also had Fried Chicken, and so did Alec. You know .. I didn't note what Dave had .. and I can't remember either. Ehhh, rest assured it was beef .. something! LOL and he liked it. No dessert this meal .. I could barely walk out of there as it was I was so full!!!

Mama Melrose (MGM) Lunch
This is one of the few places we ALL agree on at "the World"! LOL Food tastes among us are as different as could possibly be, but everyone likes it here ... so it's a stop on each trip pretty much.

We started by sharing a 4 cheese flatbread for an appetizer. Theirs is very good, and I love pizza anyway .. I could have it every day! LOL For entrees .. Evan had the kid's pepperoni pizza (obviously, he's a pizza lover too!) and Alec had plain pasta .. totally plain! LOL The child doesn't even like butter or olive oil on it!! blah!! Dave & I both had the Potato Crusted Veal Scallopine over field greens -- this is SUCH a nice, light dish, not at all heavy and a perfect summer time meal. I love it! I had a glass of Pinot Grigio too. Again we skipped dessert, since dinner was only about 4 hrs or so after lunch! LOL

Cinderella's Royal Table (MK) Breakfast
As I said in my TR for this day, the food isn't fabulous here .. but it's good, and the setting IS fabulous! I think this would make a dynamite place for a private party ... sigh ... one of these days! LOL This is a preplated meal, and contains the cream cheese stuffed french toast, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and my favorite, the cheese potatoes casserole. The kids both got adult meals too. There's also fresh fruit, and croissants and REALLY yummy chocolate chip muffins served too .. although no one but me at our table knew just how good they were .. because I ate 'em all! :o)

Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian) Dinner
I've eaten here previously on a number of occasions, and while I always had an enjoyable meal certainly, I wouldn't have said it was GREAT!! ..... but this time, it WAS! It's my understanding that there's recently been a change of chef's here, and wow! Chef Celine has done a bang up job for someone who appears to be very young!

The menu's been refined, and it seems more wines added too. I started with the Seafood Tamale, which was wonderful!! It was a corn husk, wrapped around bits of shrimp, scallop & lobster, with a white corn meal inside, and a tomato based, highly spiced sauce - very very good. Dave had the Shrimp & Crab stack, which was also good, I've had that before. For dinner, the boys both got the whole Maine Lobster, and Dave & I got the Filet & Lobster. All of the lobsters were served with the most delicious vanilla sauce -- I could've had a bowl of that & the lobster with nothing else, and been in heaven! LOL it was that good!!! It's not really a sweet sauce, but SLIGHTLY sweet, with a medium heavy vanilla taste to it and it complimented the lobster meat perfectly. I actually ate little of the steak and just gave it to Dave. The nice thing about lobster .. for me anyway, is that while I'm satisfied when I'm finished eating it, I'm not stuffed completely full .. so I had room for dessert this night :) And I'm glad I did! I had the chocolate mousse, which was outstanding!!!! Now when I finished that, THEN I really WAS full! LOL Lobster and chocolate & a bottle of champagne .. not a bad way to end this day!

Cape May Character Breakfast Buffet (Beach Club)
I believe this was the only CB that we'd never tried prior to this trip, and after eating there ... I don't know why I waited so long! LOL It was GREAT!!!!!!!!! We had an 8 am PS, and were seated immediately, after being greeted in the lobby by Minnie in beach attire, posing for pictures! Very cute! Since we arrived relatively early, it wasn't crowded yet either, which is always nice.

This is a BIG buffet, with a lot of really good choices. It's arranged in a big square, and includes: scrambled eggs with & without cheese; a frittata with eggs, cheese & potatoes that were shredded; bacon; sausage; roast beef hash; rice; oatmeal; cream of wheat; grits, with cheese (mmmm!!); french toast sticks; bread pudding; pecan rolls; cinnamon rolls; assorted danishes; apple cinnamon crunch; biscuits & gravy; pancakes; Mickey waffles; hash browns; tater tots; asstd fresh fruit; cold cereals; cottage cheese; yogurts; blintzes; asstd muffins, and of course, juices and coffee & tea & milk. I will DEFINITELY be scheduling this on future trips!! Oh and the characters here are Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale.

I really like Tonys. We had the cheese too and I remember it being great!
