Imagination Institute

Kathy, I knew you would love this. I am unlurking to share.

I was just hire to be the TAG (Talented and Gifted) teacher at my sons' school and the school I went to k-12. I have not been a real teacher (only a sub) since 2000. I spent the summer trying to think of a theme for my room and the TAG room will now be called the "Imagination Institute" I have my bulletin board decorated with the title and parts of the song. A new Figment mug for my desk and my door is labeled with "Imagination Institute" (otherwise known as stage storage room - but I am not complaining)

I am so excited to start "One little spark" in all of my students this year.

I absolutely LOVE your theme!!!! I teach fifth grade and am pocketing this idea in my brain for the future. Congrats on the teaching position!

I think the kids will love it - they really do not like the other kids they are going to "Gifted" It is so cool to be the 45 year old new teacher
