I just discovered this group and am amazed. This is such a talented group of people - the designs are wonderful. I was interested in giving t-shirt making a try but am stuck when it comes to images. When I search for a specific character - say tweedle dee and tweedle dum, the images I get are tiny. Whey I try to make them bigger, it takes away the clarity. I have searched many of the sites recommended here but the images are always too small. How do you find suitable images and what am I doing wrong? Also, I've seen people say they're making their own images. This may be a very advanced process, but how do you do that??
Thanks for the help!!

my favorite way to create images is to scan coloring books or color in files I find when I search for Disney coloring pages (or specific characters like Mickey Mouse coloring pages)

Also, take a look at some computer wallpapers. Many of then are larger sizes.
When I search for something, I will usually click on the large size option. If you are using google, it's located to the left of the web page. I usually do not take anything smaller than a 800x600.
