I'm want to rent a condo

I have the chance to rent a condo from a friend. He just gave me his large book that I can choose from. He told me the price of $700 for 7 nights and 8 days. $500 for the actual rent and $200 to get it in my name.

I am looking at going Sat. to Sat. Easter week. 2007.

I am looking at a condo complex in Kissimmee. I am able to look at their web page also. Is this like the going rate, or is it a little high.

you can generally find them cheaper - however EASTER week is an exception.

very, very busy - do you really want to be in WDW with thousands of other folks.....

one more thing this is very, very late for getting an exchange into Orlando, Fl for Easter - he may find something - he may not.

ask him to look now - before you give him any money.

they may and probably will cut your selection in half if not more.

We have an Interval International timeshare as well as our DVC - we've given our weeks to friends, as well as purchased "getaways" for them - weeks above and beyond the week we own. $500 for the getaway week rate is very much in line with what we've seen but with II the cost to get a week put in someone else's name is $35, not $200.

But this is Interval - he may have another one.

2007 is a bit early to check for availabilities, and keep in mind that not everything listed in the book he gave you will be available. See if you can go online with him and take a look at the condos that are generally available from week to week and concentrate on those. Some of them are just excellent!

We love staying onsite very much, but have spent many a trip in an offsite 2 or 3 bedroom condo. It is GREAT!!!! Having all the space, the full kitchen for snacks, doors that shut within your rooms for privacy - you'll love it! And looking at aroun $100 a night is a good deal for what you'll get.

My dd-15 will be marching with her h.s. band Easter week 2007. I plan to go to WDW the Wednesday before Easter and stay on site, then check into the condo on Saturday. I figured we would sleep in on Saturday morning, go grocery shopping and then check into the condo by 4:00 p.m. On easter Sunday I plan to go to church or try for tickets at the Cove where you can swim with the dolphines.

I know it will be busy Easter week, the day she marches at MK, we plan to go to a different park and then come in for the parade at nite from 6 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

They are also going to Universal for a day Easter week. I'm going to surprise my husband with the Petty Driving School and do other things my husband wants to do.

That is why I am going down early and commandoing the parks with my oldest 22 yr old dd.

This is RCI Community, I found the Summer Bay Resort-anyone every stay there, maybe I'll start a new thread asking.
