I'm very confused about hair/makeup people....

Do you just go with your gut?

Right now, I am thinking LeJeune...but I don't see them listed anymore on the Disney recommended vendors and I'm wonering why...

They added a whole bunch of other people too...

I want to wear my hair down and wavy/curlyish and a lot of people I see have pics of all these fancy up-do's...

Plus I like the whole airbrush idea with the makeup..

Just throwing this out there....I know a lot of you are fans of Ana at Beaute Speciale..but it's not happening for me no matter how many times I check out her website..

Can people who have used Patricia at LeJeune get back to me with opinions etc..

And brides who have worn their hair down...who did you have?

Hi! Patricia LeJeune is not on Disney's list (and never has been) because she doesn't want to jump through the hoops it takes to apply for the list and, frankly, doesn't need to be.

Hope1826 used Patricia LeJeune and wore her hair down - it looked beautiful! Here's her trip report, which has lots of pictures.

I wore my hair up because I didn't want to fuss with it for the rest of the day, but I have to say, when Patricia took it out of the pin curls before she put it up, I almost decided to go with it down because it looked so pretty!

Patricia works with you to get the look YOU want, and she is really good about taking direction.

Regarding the airbrush makeup, I loved it. It looked way more natural on my pale skin than regular makeup, and it lasted 18 hours.

I loved Patricia!! I hired her because of the wonderful job she did with Carrie's hair. Also, I was really impressed by the diversity of the bridal parties she had worked with and the fact that all of the brides on her website looked sooooo beautiful, while still looking natural.

The airbrush makeup was amazing. I had never done it before so I was a little worried, but it was gorgeous. She did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom too. and they all looked gorgeous.

Before I knew about Patricia, I was seriously considering doing my hair and makeup myself. NONE of the vendors on the list looked like they were my style or like they could even work with my hair or skin tone.

Thank you for the compliment. Honestly, I truly believe that if I had hired ANY ONE else, my hair would have been a disaster. Before I saw your engagement pics and you recommended Patricia, I had called a few of the stylists on Disney's list and when I asked if they had experience with long, super curly, super thick ethnic hair, they sounded confused and they couldn't send me pictures of brides like me. I've had stylists quit half way through doing my hair. But Patricia, said that her own hair is super curly and long and she referred to working with your super long hair.

I had mine down - used Beauty Speciale but I had Lilly not Ana

I think Lynn also used BS and had Ana

The second pic was taken 10 hours after my hair and makeup were done without touchups
