I'm too excited to sleep!!!

Really I am!! DD & I have been taking an annual trip for the past few years (sometimes alone sometimes with family and friends). Well after our last trip in August 07 I decided that we needed to take a year off. So no planning for us. Then something hit me (not literally ) - now we are going by ourselves in May for a week and I am so excited I can't sleep.

I just told dd a couple of days ago when we went to pick up our travel documents from our TA. She flipped out! Now she will tell anyone who will listen that she is going to WDW on May 4th.

So to try and contain myself I have started my packing list. I can tell you that is not calming me down!

Geez - me too!! We go in June...I just typed up the start of my packing list (don't think I'll tell DH - he'll tell me that I'm totally an OCD Disney nut, which I am!! ). It's now 1:02 a.m., & I'm thinking, get sleepy, Susan, you've got 3rd graders tomorrow morning! Right now all I want to do is go to Disney!

I am so sleepy this morning! You would think that I would know better as an adult - staying up late thinking about a trip - surfing the dis. But nah... wdw just brings out the kid in me. Plus I am really looking forward to being alone at wdw with my dd!!! We had fun with our family and friends but those trips are more work. This trip we get to relax and do whatever we want to when we want to!!!!!

I am not a teacher. I am a school counselor in training. I have been a counselor for a while and would like to work in a school setting so I had to go back to get my credential - I live in CA so they are pretty tough! I do teach parent education classes, substitute, and lead a girl scout troop. I admire people who are teachers full time - it is a lot of work.

Lat year after our trip I said we needed to take a year off. We said we'd go to the beach or something else so that by the following year (2009) we'd be totally stoked about going to the world again. Well, as you can see by my sig, we are going again this year. I got hit by the disney bug in late January. I told my DH "who are we kiddin? we gotta go to Disney!"
