I'm tired of drinking out of my multi-colored glasses

Well, OP at least yours sorta match.

I've got tons of mismatched glassware, including a couple of old jelly jar glasses. You know the ones that you eat the jelly and then have the glass to use. The 2 I have Disney characters on them. Mostly we just drink out of our Disney refillable mugs.

When I give those to guests they are a great conversation piece. We get to chatting about fun vacations and such.

Except for my In-laws. When they come to visit every other year, they always ask for a regular glass and when I mention I don't have any, they give me some for a thank you for having us gift. I have no space in the cupboards for them so they live in the dining room until they are broken, usually within 6 months. We are a clumsy bunch at my house.

I enjoy my Disney mugs. :rotfl:

I don't have any suggestions for you, OP, but had to say I also have vintage tupperware tumblers with lids. Mine are pastel colors. I use them a lot; I prefer having a lid on my soda/milk/water etc because if I knock it over less liquid spills out. We put a hole in some of the lids to accomodate straws & it was the best decision for us.

Mostly we use our WDW mugs; glass glasses don't survive here plus I've gotten cut on broken ones far too many times. So they're outahere! Good luck finding replacements you're happy with.

Visit New Orleans for Mardi Gras. They throw plastic cups at all the parades, and they would make good conversation pieces at all your meals. :thumbsup2

As for Corelle plates...mine shatter when they hit the floor. Concrete floors will do that. :headache:
