I'm thinking of starting a website with pictures of Disney food...

...sorted by restaurant. That way, if you want to eat at...say...Le Cellier...you can go to the site to look at pictures of the offerings taken by fellow Disney fans. Is there something like this out there already? Do you think it is a good idea?

Well, since the food pictures...AKA Food Porn threads are so popular, I thought this might be a good way to compile photos for people to see. There can be a review section, but everyone's opinion is always different so it might not be too helpful anyway.

I also LOVE this idea! I am always searching for pics of restaurants we may want to try. I have such picky eaters that if I find something on the menu they might light I sometimes need a pictures to go with it LOL.

Do you mean start a thread sorted by restaurant, or do you mean actually start your own website?
Either way, it is a nice idea, just would be harder to find and contribute to the latter.
There used to be, I think on the food porn thread, sorting by restaurants, and the person who did it spent alot of time and energy on it.
Eventually they just didn't have the time anymoe, and had to give it up, and no one took over.
Someone else will know more, to give you detail.

You know what we could do?? We could start a group PhotoBucket account..not sure if more than one person can be one it at one time and upload our pics to there. It is unlimited pictures you just have limits to how many people can view it if you have them linked to a site. Everyone could create a new album based on restaurant.

Yes, but that is only limited to whatever links the thread creator puts in there. There is a also a Disney Food Porn Site on Facebook that we could all add food pics in.

There's the Disney Food Blog http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/ . You can put the restaurant name in the search box and you will get the blog posts with pics.

I love the idea and would expand it with some info like Rusty suggested. If you ask a question on the food porn thread, it gets deleted and many times people don't post what it is, where it's from, how it was, etc.

Make sure you get GoofyOnTheHiSeas to post his pictures. I think that's his name. He has a thread going over on Reviews. He has some of the best pictures I've ever seen on here. That guy was committed! I think he took a picture of everything he ate AND what his family ate. Dedication. Not to mention the pictures are amazing, like, professional level amazing.

I like your idea. I think it sounds fun. Sure, there's probably something like it, but so what. Go ahead and do it anyway. Sounds like you want to and you can bet there will be interest from here.

I think its a fantastic idea. So many of the threads/blogs are comments and words. A pictures only site with just a description of what the dish is would be great.
