My guess is that he thought his original post didn't go through, which is why the original post in this thread just contains a period. DISboards doesn't allow regular posters to delete their posts (only moderators can delete posts), so the best you can do is delete the content except for a single character, although what a lot of people will do is change the post to say "duplicate post".
