I'm thankful for...MICKEY!!! My Thanksgiving '08 TR!: TR Update, Last Day!

That Wii Fit sounds FUN! I don't really have an opinion about where I'd live at WDW (because we haven't been yet lol), but I'm thinking that the France pavilion would be good - we love all things French! :goodvibes

OH, the France pavilion! Great choice! I would love to live there. Particularly if I could eat at the boulangerie every day!

The Wii Fit is so much fun. I absolutely recommend it!

That was nice of Jiri to leave POTC for you, huh?

Maybe one of my students will come back someday and tell me he/she has become a scientist, and they can invent such a transport machine.

Sewing? You'd be sorry if I sewed anything. I sewed a dress once in Home Ec. in 8th grade. Miraculously, it stayed together long enough for me to be in the fashion show. I can sew on a button, but that's about it.

Maybe we could do Beaches and Cream take-out, then, and go find a place on the beach or sit out on the terrace. I don't think snowbell has anything going yet as far a a trip report. I'll PM her and see, and I'll PM Nicole, as well.

Oh, I was hoping to eat lunch at Beaches and Cream that day! That is a fabulous idea, MeMom!!!!

And for the big news...

Yay! So glad DH found a job in Chicagoland! I take it the offer was what you wanted it to be, then! :goodvibes

Hurray also for 83 days! Closer to 75 than 100! :thumbsup2

On another note, are you still enjoying the Wii Fit? I bought one on Wednesday, but was out that evening and yesterday evening, so I haven't been able to try it yet!

The worker also convinced me to get a rechargeable battery pack, but I'm considering returning it and just using regular Duracells for now. I could probably find cheaper rechargeables online.

Yes, the offer was perfect!

I like how you think about 83 days being closer to 75 than 100!

I am LOVING the Wii Fit! I have been sore from the exercises the past few days, so I know it's working. I definitely have to do cardio/aerobic exercise in addition to the Wii, but it's great for strengthening and SOME cardio.

We bought the charger with rechargeable batteries for the Wii remotes, but we didn't buy it for the Fit. I think we'll do what you did and buy other rechargeables online.

You have to try it and let me know how you like it!

 Congrats! So you'll probably be moving back in time for the holidays! I'm so happy for you! :yay:

CONGRATULATIONS! You guys must be so excited, I'm so happy for you! Have you started looking at houses and all of that yet? Keep us updated!

71 pages for a PTR?! :faint: I don't know how I'm going to catch up! But needless to say I'm joining in. It sounds like you have a great trip planned and I can't wait to hear more.

I saw you got a Wii Fit...we got one a couple weeks ago and it's pretty fun! Though I haven't done it in a while so it's probably going to call me a couch potato when I finally decide to play again.

CONGRATULATIONS on your dh getting the job he wanted and you being able to move home! :jumping1: That's wonderful!

Thanks for sending me the "boo" - he looks cute in my signature :rotfl2:

Thank you! We are so excited!

We have been looking at houses online, but we're going to wait to do the real looking till we're there. My parents have a large house with no more kids in it, so they have plenty of room for us to crash for a couple months while we look.

I'm excited to buy a different house! I like our house here in AZ, but I never really let myself get too attached because I knew we'd be leaving. So I'm excited to have a permanent home!

I know...I started this PTR WAY too early!!! I was overexcited!

Don't worry about catching up!

thanks for joining me.

I love the Wii Fit! But I do hate it when it calls me a couch potato!

Thanks! It was all because you kept everything crossed for 3 weeks!

You're welcome for the boo!

Oh, hon, I'm so happy for you! :goodvibes Congrats on the job offer for DH. Now you'll be closer to family, right?

Congratulations on DH's new job!! It'll be great to move home. DH and I lived away from my family for a few years after college. Every time we came "home" to visit I was sadder and sadder to leave - we eventually moved back here to NH - and his mother moved here a few years later. It's so nice to be near family - especially once you start to have kids. :thumbsup2 You'll have to write a moving TR! ;)

Julie! I'm so excited for you to be moving back home!   Congrats to DH on getting the job he wanted! Yes - you'll have to get to DL before you move back! You can see it in two days if you have to - us DISers know how to get it all in!

Congrats!!!! :cool1: I am so happy your DH got the offer y'all wanted and you get to move back to Chicago!!! You must be so excited!!!

You countdown is coming down nicely!!! It will even better when I get back next weekend!

:goodvibes Wow...I love this place...the only outlet for my "disney addiction". My hubby and teen son like Disney, but they don't LOVE it like the princesses and I do! I got the bug back in 7th grade and can't shake it! I would go every month if I could...alas, I have to reel my excitement in and settle for once a year! Can you believe it???

Anyway, the converting a hater in 7 days intrigued me, so I started reading...my goodness 71 pages tho? I'll catch up eventually! I see that we'll be in Disney at the same time...how cool! I look forward to all the installments over the next 75 days! I agree, the ticker is moving in slowwwww mottttioooon! Can't wait...:yay:
