Im taking myself off the BC pill - legs have been hurting for weeks

Doc put me on BC pill to control cycles. However, after going on a new pill 2.5wks ago my legs have been killing me. I used to be able to go out and walk 6miles, now Im lucky to get 1/2 mile done. At night they have been cramping up more too. Lower legs, mostly left leg.

This sounds like something you should definately tell your doctor about.

That's exactly the reason I stopped taking birth control pills. I got cramps all the time, and I was tired of trying to figure out if it was a cramp or a blood clot. Of course, I was just using them for birth control, so I had more options.

You really need to go back to the physician; you could have blood clots forming. Also, you may need to have your electrolytes evaluated.

Said to stop taking them and if I dont start to feel better to call my reg doctor. So I'll see what happens. Thanks

Please call your doctor!! This happened to a friend of my and she ended up with a deep vein thrombosis (blood clot) after only 1 month on the pill. She was in the hospital on IV drop for 3 weeks because of it. It's nothing to mess around with!
