Do the resorts (specifically Poly if it makes a difference) carry the Disney Channel? I'd rather not bring my DVD player I don't need to and they love the Playhouse Disney line up. No, I'm not planning on having them veg out on TV, but we usually find in a hotel that there is at least a few times here and there that a familiar show can be used to quell an impending meltdown. So for the sake of our neighbors on all sides, a few minutes of TV can be just what the good doctor ordered

Of course they have disney, but they also have this great resort channel and whenever we are in the reosrt we watch it over and over. They show all the parks and rides and fun things to do and they do a little thing that goes like this... have a zipededodah tip for the day and they give you a dis tip. Some people probably find it annoying, but we love it.

They also have a channel that tells bedtime stories at night !!!! (I think it plays Radio Disney during the day)

My son loved the Disney cartoons that were on, it played some "vintage" cartoons and some of the newer ones, we put that on at night to help him calm down after a wild day in the parks, never failed, he fell asleep in minutes!
