I'm stuck!

About 7 yrs ago I did Atkins and had amazing results! Needless to say, I've gained it all back. I've been following the program again for the past 5wks. As of right now I'm stuck between 11-13lbs. I'm getting really frustrated and looking for any suggestions. I have added in a 30min walk(decent pasce) aboiut 4-5 times a week. Don't want to give up because I really want to lose about 30lbs more! Help!!
 
My honest suggestion would be...try something other than Atkins, ESPECIALLY if you are active. The biggest problem is the one you encountered, as a lifestyle change, it's a VERY tough row to hoe. The second problem is that frankly, your body needs carbs, if you are active, lots of them. Dr. Atkins viewed normal body function as a disease of sorts and built a diet plan that while effective works directly against your own body.
 
I'd agree with the getting off atkins. Not all carbs are bad its just important that your not consuming the kind of carbs that convert quickly to sugar. I just started working with a nutritionist I'm trying to loose weight while dealing with crazy food allergies. When we talked about carbs she said it was important to always consume proteins with carbs never eat them alone. When you do atkins it puts your body into a starvation mode and now your body is stalling. You need good carbs and lean meats.
