I'm sorry, but I won't be able to list my BWV for rent....

because FINALLY, after 9-10 years of trying to get my sister and her family to come to WDW, she's coming!!!!

I've been booking an extra room for a guest at WDW for several years. Sometimes my parents or other Aunt/Uncle come. Usually, I give up and drop the reservation before the banking deadline, but this year I decided to hang onto it and figured I could always list the extra room here if I got down to this point (one month out) and she said "no" and no one else wanted to go. (I had asked 2 other families who said no earlier in the year.) :confused3

I am in shock, but very happy that we'll finally have the Disney vacation I've been looking forward to since I joined DVC. I really love sharing WDW with other people and I will really be on :cloud9: introducing my nieces and nephews to it.

:jumping1:

That's great news! You must be so excited. I am taking my sis, my two nieces (4 and 18 mos) and my BIL. She has been only once before in December when Florida had a very long cold snap and she froze the entire week. It was 29°:scared1: when we watched Spectromagic and she cursed me the entire night:headache:. The rest of her gang has never been so this is going to be a real fun trip for us too. I can't wait! Have a great time.

I'm pretty sure we won't have that problem! :scared1: It will more likely be the 3 h's (hazy, hot and humid) - or maybe even that dreaded other "h" - hurricane.

She and her dh have not been to WDW in over 15 years and their kids have never been. They range in age from about 7-15.

My husband calls me the "Borg" when I plan things like this. "Resistance if futile. You will be assimilated." :rotfl2:

I'm glad your persistence paid off! Have a great time!

I like your idea of renting the extra room, "just in case."

Congratulations on the success! We used to always book a 2 bedroom and "expect" people to come with us, but after getting stuck with 2 of us in a 2 bedroom once, we don't do that anymore. Now if they can't confirm by my booking window, I reserve a 1 bedroom and if someone decides to come, I'll try to change to a 2 bedroom or find another room for them. Life's too short to worry about that kind of stuff anymore. I LOVE sharing Disney with newbies though!:cool1: You'll have a great time with your neices and nephews!
