I'm SOOOOO excited!!!!!

Hey everyone!! I lurk WAY more than I post, but enjoy these boards SO much!! I'm officially addicted to Disney ... went on a family vacation (husband, 13 y/o son at the time, and me) last June, and IT'S SO SAD, we aren't able to go this year, and my son really wants to cruise. So we have to do that first probably next summer ...

But I just got a raise at my job, and my husband and I are going to be able to squeeze in a 5 day trip this Fall!!!!!!! I'M LIKE BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS AND RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED!!!! I can't WAIT to go in the down times, which I would prefer to do, but don't want to take my son out of school.

I'M JUST SO EXCITED, I HAD TO SHARE!!!

oh Happy Happy, Day! Great news for you It is always so exciting when someone shares with such enthusiasm! We annually visiti in May, with the exception of one November trip, so I have never been during a down time but am seriously considering it for next year. Be sure to post a return trip report when you get back! have a magical time

My dh and I LOVE WDW. We made the mistake of taking the kids a few years ago on a cruise. Now, that's all they want to do We've been taking a cruise every other year and WDW the other year. They are almost grown so when that happens, it's all WDW for dh and I (DVC here we come!!) Granted we've been on 2 disney cruises and they were awesome but, it's not the same. NOTHING beats WDW.

I usually go in the fall, in October (this year it's December, though). It's a great time to go-you'll have a blast!

CONGRATS on the raise and the trip! I also planned a "last minute" (not really) vacation to WDW for October! I booked last month, but my boyfriend and I were not planning on going at all until next October with a few other couples. But I got a free dining offer e-mailed to me and I decided I couldn't wait any longer! He's a first timer and I'm a veteran and I absolutely cannot wait!

Last night we booked our vacation at All-Star Movies, dining plan, and 5 day Park Hoppers (MUST HOP!). And this morning booked our flights!!

It is OFFICIAL!! SO EXCITED ...

Congrats on your raise and trip! You will love going that time of year. DH and I went for a long weekend in 2004; the crowd levels were amazingly small and the weather was fantastic.
