Those of you who were in chat last night allready know this but I wanted to share the news here too.
Karissa update....
I was really concerned that with summer break she would lose some of her skills that she gained during the school year so we have been working with her and trying to find new things to keep her up to date with her skills. We have been singing and playing games and working with beads to help her dexterity.
Well last night as I was chatting here on the Dis , dh was singing with her and she was able to sing her ABC'S!!! All of them and as clear as could be!
It was so wonderful!!
She is working so hard and trying so many new things!
Anyway, I just had to share! She has come so far in the last 2 years ( can I thank you all again for reassuring me through the ear tube surgery and all that came afterwards?!)
She will be 4 this year and the doctors and her teachers expect her to be CAUGHT UP with her peers by Kindergarten in 2 years!
Given what we were told when she was a baby that she may never catch up and may be dependant on us for the rest of her life, this is amazing news!!
