I'm so excited, Disney's HR just called me...

Yes! Yes! Yes! I just got a call from DCL HR department at Port Canaveral and they have viewed my resume and would like me to come in Thursday to interview for the position of Embarkation Rep!

I've always wanted to work for Disney and now it's a good possibility! It's part time and with my current job I'll still have a day off, which means I'd be able to put that free Disney pass to good use...

Send some pixie dust my way, and maybe I'll be the one checking you in our your next DCL trip!

What exactly is an embarkation rep?

Here is the description from Disney's Website:

"Handle all embarkation procedures, perform automated check-in functions and greet Guests upon arrival."

The person I spoke with who will be interviewing me said that basically I would check id's and birth certificates as well as passports, issue boarding passes, check the manifest, etc. Similar I'd assume to say the person who works the airport counter. I love working with people and I also love working with kids and of course I LOVE Disney, so I figured I'd have a great time in this position. Plus somedays I'd get to meet some of our DISer's, how cool would that be!
