I'm so anxious...what do you do?

It's only been one day since we've entered ROFR. I've been obsessed with all these message boards and forums. Is there anything else that you did to keep your sanity? I hate waiting. I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

You aren't anxious....you are normal. I am a DIS boards freak....owning DVC has made me much , much worse. I ususally get through my Disney waits with Disney Music. I settle down, turn on Spectro and chill.

See I have read every new DVC post since buying in 2009...I am telling ya'll I am sick. It is not to the point where I am canceling evenings out or missing work...but I am on here ALOT. I don't know how I would handle ROFR...I guess it would be OK since I already have a contract.

I know how you feel. When we started in 2009 with that resale contract, I must of bugged the poor salesperson at the TSS every day, sometimes more than once. She was always so reassuring and said to contact her as much as I want. I figured she was so used to dealing with stressful people.

lol...i am buying OKW 150 pts. I do want my contract to pass but if it doesn't no big deal we can try another or just buy direct..but this is insane! who thought of this ROFR thing?

I have read most of the posts everyday. At work I am refreshing to see if there are any new posts. When I wake up the first thing I do is grab my iPhone and check my email and then disboards...

I know this will be great for our family. We have been waiting years to be financially able to make our purchase. We tried once before and it just wasn't the right time for us and I was really sad. I can't wait to book our first reservation. It will be a big difference since we usually stay at Hojo in Anaheim and might make me want to try to fly to WDW and Hawaii.

Waiting here too...it is SLOW and painful! We are two weeks in...and I'm getting antsy!

know what you are going through, We singed our 100 point SSR contract on 1/4/2011 as well as the seller. on 1/5 we received a courtesy email from TSS stating it was submitted to Disney.
That makes it 23 days today, and assume they count calendar days, not business days in the 30 days
I will post on this thread if we hear anything shortly so you can get an idea of the timeframe.

I feel your pain. We were submitted last Friday. I don't think they are exercising ROFR except BCV, so I'm not too worried about passing, but I can't wait to call MS and book our first trip "home". 210 points @BWV

Wanted to let you know that we heard today that disney waived its right to buy - i.e. passed ROFR. So that means submitted 1/5 - passed 2/4. --- 31 days

Yay! Congrats! I bet this is the best feeling until you actually start using your points.

IMO they should not allow this. This gives us time to find out things that might make us change our mind. Not that i am..I'm just saying. I read these boards for over 2 years before we finally put in an offer. We just waited until we were financially ready to throw down the $$$.
