Im responsible for this family holiday. Need a little advice

Ok,

I last visited Orlando around 8 years ago, it was the last of 7 years on the spin. Now it is time to book up again for either 2016 or 2017, not decided on which year as of yet.

This will be the first time it has been down to me to arrange and book everything, previously other relatives had sorted everything.

Heres the questions :

1: Has much changed regarding paperwork needed to enter the USA. I remember previously that there was a white and a green form to fill in on the plane.

2: I am going with my 3 children (currently 7, 6, 4) plus the missus. Before booking the 14 day tickets for WDW and Universal is there enough at each of the parks for children of their ages or will we better off skipping certain parks?

1. You MUST complete an ESTA online before departure for each member of your party, including the children. There's a sticky on this board showing you how to do so. There is a small cost involved. You only fill out a white customs form on the plane.
2. There is plenty for everyone at all of those parks.

All I would say is you technically have 28 days worth of parks if you buy the 14 day tickets for both parks. This is good if you want to see stuff in both and think it will take the time. Universal and IoA I would say you could do in a few days (I've done it in 2) and you might be able to save yourself some money there. Often with Disney it is the same price for 7 days as it is for the 14 and to go to all 4 theme parks and maybe a water park you would probably want that. Just be realistic about what you want to do in each park and think about how many days you would like to spend doing things. You may find you can save some money by getting shorter tickets or it may just work out as good to get the longer ones. With Universal Islands of Adventure there are a lot of big rides and an area with more tammer rides (Suess landing). I'd definitely look to see if you think your kids would enjoy it before deciding to factor in both parks. Also things like EPCOT in Disney are fun for kids of all ages but don't have that many big rides. It just depends what your family enjoy hence best option is to have a look at the websites first.

Oh and don't forget there is also Seaworld which is great for kids and adults and sometimes comes included on 14 day Universal ticket depending on which you are looking at. Busch Gardens I wouldn't personally bother with as its a drive from Orlando and is mainly large rides from what I remember which might be too intense for the youngsters anyway. Also it tends to be an extra charge on the ticket and if you can save money its always a bonus.
