Sounds kinda scary doesn't it?

My sweet angel, my little snuggle bunny, said this to me today.
Not, "I hate you", not "I'd like to kill you", and not "I'm mad at you".
She says, "I'm plotting your demise."

What for do you ask?

I was commiting the serious crime of playing music on my radio in the car. 80's music. :teeth: :teeth:

I don't know how old your "angel" is, but keep up the good work, if they think you're an alien then you're doing your job :teeth:

Of course, I don't have any kids, so what the heck do I know.

Love 80's music though ;)

i'd sleep with one eye open tonight, Laurie!!

:teeth:

That's about when the "attitude" starts. Good luck, you're going to need it :p On the bright side, when she's grown, she'll feel eternally guilty for saying and doing these things and become your best friend. I'm just going by how I was, from 11-16 I was a terror on wheels. Just part of their asserting their independence and growing up, although I'd sleep with one eye open :p

Kidding! :)

ROTFL, Laurie, that is one scary...and BRIGHT...11-year-old! ;)

Tell her that 80s music is COOL and if she doesn't think so she is sadly behind the times. :teeth:

Boy, I'm starting early. My 5 year old told me the other day in the car that she didn't like my music, and it was Christina Agularia (sp?). If it's not Disney or Eminem, she doesn't like it (she like only one Eminem song).

LOL!!! I'm sorry, but that's actually kind of funny!! Still, one eye open is probably a good idea!!:earseek: Since she loves 80's music so much, maybe she'd like to see Duran Duran with me next week!!!;) Good luck with your TWEENager!!!

I agree with Michelle, and I would add that it's funny too!

Well she has a way with words at her age. You'll look back on all of this when she is in her 30s and remind her of all the funny moments (well by the time she is 30 they'll be funny) that she gave you growing up. :D

Hmmmm it may have been the song, LOL! Tell your dd that some kids have to tortued by 60's and 70's music, primarily DISCO! My 12yo keeps begging to keep the windows UP!:p There is just something about wind in my hair and the image of John Travolta walking down the street to 'Night Fever'. ahhhh...

Hey if the windows are up you could always threaten to put them down and 'pump up the volume'.

LOL, well, I did turn it up. It was a song by the Pointer Sisters. :teeth:

I might be a little more worried if I didn't see the twinkle in her eye and the grin she was trying to hide. ;)

Tell her you're plotting hers also, then switch to 70's or even better 60's music.
