I'm Planning a Private Dining Meal to Surprise DH!!

I am planning a private dining meal to surprise DH on our first empty-nest vacation! I was going to do a meal at California Grill hoping to see Wishes. He didn't care for the menu and I figured this would be better and more fun than using 4 TS credits for a meal we may not like.
So now we will be in a romantic alcove of the Grand Floridian - it is outdoors on an upper floor, but can be moved just indoors in the event of bad weather. It overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon and has a perfect view of Wishes I am told. I get to select our menu and we will be met by our butler in the lobby and taken to our table. The butler will serve our meal and dessert will arrive about the time Wishes starts. I am going to get one of those mini-castle cakes!
I think DH will be very surprised. He ahd asked if there was somewhere we could eat "out on the porch". He's a Southern boy. What can I say.

Not much work at all - I just talked to someone in Private dining at the Grand Floridian - the number is on the WDW website. She emailed me a menu and I can select what I want. I do have to give a credit card number to secure it, of course. She said it generally runs around $200 depending on your menu. Not bad for your own private little alcove overlooking Wishes and the Seven Seas Lagoon. And a butler. I know I'm excited about it.

Questions about the menus - Is there a good selection? Is there the same food as other restaurants or is it different? Does the price vary depending on what you order?
