I'm paying rack rate for POP!!!

Oh,my!! I never though this would happen to me, I'm paying rack rate for Pop Century. Long story short, this is a spur of the moment, last minute, quickie trip next week that I started to plan today. I have done this before and I have always manage to get a discount (lucky me, I know ).This time only BW and BC were available with the discount and this is the only time I will not be visiting Epcot. So, I decided to try POP.....I need help quick ..I like to be on the quieter side of the resort ,since, we are traveling with my 80 yr old grandmother and our 4 yrs old niece.Something nice maybe close to the lake.Which building should I request?? If you can think of anything else..like where to park ...What's good in the food court?? Is there anything to do for the 4 year old besides the pool??

They have really good salads in the food court in the fridge section....there is a playground at pop somewhere..we didnt make it to it while we were there...there are also water jets she can play in...they are right on the other side of the 60s building......we stayed in the 60s building which is right by the food court the pool..the lobby.the buses...and we never heard anything and there were people swimming all the time..so as for noise...i am not sure you will really have a problem unless you get noisy neighbors.....we LOVED POP ..we are going to stay there again in December when we go back..have a great time..

We just got back from a stay at POP from 2/23 to 3/1. We had a room in building A in the 50s, third floor, the wing that goes out toward the parking lot. We thought it was a fabulous location. The only noise we heard was due to some rather rude neighbors with very loud children running around like mad first thing in the morning. It was a great location to be in to get to the transportation and main building but still quiet and pleasant.
