I'm on a boat! Disney Dream TR 0ct 20-23 (last update pg 7 12/1)

The Dream is so pretty.

Tough question. Before we took the cruise I thought about switching to 4 days at Atlantis. I was happy we didn't do it.

I asked DH if he would go back just for Atlantis for just a few days and he said no. He is the one who loves pools, waterslides and beaches so I was surprised. He thinks it was too big and hard to get around.

I would go back when Caitlin is older. The waterpark was so big that you can't just sit down and let the kids play. The entrances to the slides were never anywhere near where you come out. You could let them go in the pools and chill out while they are there though. I liked the beach and did see some activites going on, but didn't see what they were.

I didn't see much in Nassau that I wanted to do so we would probably never leave the actual Atlanits resort. I think there would be enough to do with the waterpark, dolphin swim and snorkeling but Caitlin was a bit too young to do the Dolphin swim and snorkeling.

I asked Caitlin if she would like to spend a few days there and she said yes. I am sure kids would love the waterslides and pools, but I hated having to follow them around everywhere. Plus, if they aren't 48" they can't go on anything besides the kids area.

Also it wasn't very busy when we were there. I am guessing the weather played a part, but I have heard the slides get very busy and can have long waits. We didn't have any wait on anything.

I priced it out for fall and they had really good deals, the towers rooms were 40% off plus they gave you an flight credit it or buy 3 nights get the 4th free. I have seen it the last few years so I am sure they will offer it again.

Here is a thread I saw once about Atlantis http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2690168&highlight=atlantis

Thanks for the info! That 48 in. mark makes the decision for me. DD is well over that, but DS isn't and I'm sure there would be tons of drama if she got to ride everything and he didn't. Not to mention, I'm not crazy about the idea that I can't just sit and watch them from one general area. Sounds like Atlantis would be a better idea when they are older.

:laughing:I thought of you each time I saw the banana ice cream. I never tried it and was surprised when DH did.

There is so much stuff I wanted to do but just didn't have the time. That's why we need the 7 nights. I really want to see a cooking demonstration, hang out on the promenade watching the water go by, sit in a porthole window for awhile, actually take some pictures with characters, etc.

I am so glad we went. DH is usually the cheapest person ever, but has decided he needs to go on a cruise every year from now on. He wants to try RCL and NCL before we go back to DCL, but he did say he loved DCL and would go more often if it wasn't so much more expensive than the others.

Yeah, I REALLY want to go on another Disney cruise but the price just makes it very hard. We are looking at possibly doing another one in 2013. But, like you, I want it to be 7 nights. I have considered looking into Royal Caribbean as well. I might have to check them & start doing some comparison shopping for 2013.

The cruise looks like so much fun! I'm planning a cruise for us for 2013 and it's great getting to see pictures of what everything is like. Too bad it was cloudy and chilly the whole time. Cruises and sunshine just seem to go together.

The Aquaduck looks fun, although I'm not sure I'd like the part where it goes out over the water!

Castaway Cay looks beautiful, I almost wish they had a Disney Cruise that skipped the Bahamas and just went to Castaway Cay.

Ugh that first drink you had looks disgusting, the 2nd one at least looked pretty!

Snorkeling looks like fun, especially seeing all of the sunken treasures, but I'm not sure I'd do that alone!

I didn't even notice going over the side of the boat:confused3 We were already at Castaway Cay though, so I was looking at that. It goes by pretty quick so it is easy to miss it.

They used to have a 5 night cruise on the Dream where you stopped at CC twice and Nassau once but it isn't offered in 2013. I hope they offer again someday b/c I would love to go there twice.

Great updates, Diane. Castaway Cay looks really great. I'm glad you had a sit down with Caitlin and that she got better the rest of the trip. Glad DH was able to find part of the sunken treasure.

You guys did good at the animation class. You really ought to try and do it at the DHS the next time you go.

I always miss the class at DHS. I was happy to finally make it to one and it was pretty fun.

Castaway Cay was just perfect.:lovestruc

I have heard of kids liking Atlantis but I could see trouble if your DD is able to ride the slides and DS isn't. The kids area with slides looks cool but it was just one small area.

Yeah, I REALLY want to go on another Disney cruise but the price just makes it very hard. We are looking at possibly doing another one in 2013. But, like you, I want it to be 7 nights. I really want to go on DCL again but I have a feeling once we go on some of those other lines for so much cheaper it will be tough to convince DH to go back. Plus Caitlin will be too old in a few years to want to go on a Disney cruise. I am thinking if we have another kid we will go back when that kid is 3-4 but who knows what will happen. I am just happy to go on vacation:laughing:

The cruise was lots of fun. Aw, the boys will have a blast on a cruise.:goodvibes

I guess I should finish up our last night on the Dream.

I wanted to get a family picture in the atrium and try to see Cpt. Mickey before dinner.

DisneyDreamCanon2011298.jpg

Here is the one from our camera. I didn’t like the way any of them came out. I had my hair up but DH and Caitlin said it would look better down. I took it down but 3 days of water and wind plus a super slow blowdryer left my hair really disgusting. Oh well.

DisneyDreamCanon2011299.jpg

Our last dinner would be at the Royal Palace. I was very excited to eat here because it looked so pretty. I loved the outfits the waiters had on and all of the princess paintings on the walls.

DH skipped the appetizers and salads. The waiter told him he would get a surprise later.

I ordered
• Iced Lobster and Jumbo Shrimp White and Green Asparagus, Micro Greens and Lemon-dill dressing with Horseradish Cream
DisneyDreamCanon2011301.jpg

I didn’t really like it. Our server offered to get me something else but I declined.

For my soup I had
• Belle's French Onion Soup With Gruyère Cheese Crouton
DisneyDreamCanon2011302.jpg

I liked it but it was tough to get the cheese and crouton cut apart to eat.
DH and I ordered the same entrée. (Dh minus the lobster)

• Royal Palace Aged Angus Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Lobster Medallions Sautéed Snow Peas and Marquis Potatoes with a Cognac Reduction

DisneyDreamCanon2011303.jpg

I really liked the beef but DH didn’t like it. The potato was gross, hard and not edible. It reminded me of those twice baked potatoes they sell for the microwave that have been cooked too long.

For his surprise Dh also got
• Roasted Wild Boar Tenderloin Sweet Carrot and Onion Potato Cake with a Red Currant reduction
DisneyDreamCanon2011304.jpg

DH liked the Wild boar better than the beef. I tried it but still liked the beef better. The sweet potato cake was okay too.

I don’t have a picture of what Caitlin got- I am assuming chicken nuggets and fries.
We asked our servers if they would mind taking a picture. They agreed only if Caitlin would be in it.

(DH took the picture, I would have fixed her dress)
DisneyDreamCanon2011305.jpg

We got the dessert menu and DH ordered this:
• Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brûlée With Macaroon

I don’t think he actually read the menu and just got it b/c he saw vanilla. He mentioned to the server about getting it with vanilla ice cream so he also got a bowl of vanilla ice cream

DisneyDreamCanon2011307.jpg

I ordered
• Grand Marnier Soufflé Infused with fresh Orange Zest and served with Crème Anglaise

DisneyDreamCanon2011306.jpg

I loved this dessert. It was my favorite of the trip. I also tried DHs and that was also very good.

I really thought Royal Palace would have been my favorite but other than the desserts I liked the food at the other two dining rooms better.
After dinner we headed back to the room so that Caitlin could change for the kids club.

We had a towel animal waiting for us, along with the two items I had dropped off to be signed by the characters.
DisneyDreamCanon2011308.jpg

DisneyDreamCanon2011309.jpg

DisneyDreamCanon2011310.jpg

DH headed off to the movie theater to see Reel Steel. Caitlin and I headed to the stores to buy some last minute gifts.

Caitlin ended up getting some bath toys and I left with nothing. I wasn’t super impressed with the items in the stores. There was nothing I really wanted.

After our shopping I dropped Caitlin off at the kids club and told her I would come back at her requested time of 1 hour.

I had nothing to really do so I just wondered. I started at deck 13 and just worked my way down. There was no one there or at the adult’s pool. Maybe it was too chilly, but I hardly saw anyone in the adults only area.

I did stop by Shutters to check on our pictures but they take about 3 hours to appear in your folders. It had only been about 2 hours since we had taken our Atrium and Mickey shots.

Soon it was time to go get Caitlin. I found her playing a game and asked her if she would like to stay. She wanted to stay for another 45 minutes so I headed back to the room.

I decided to order a little room service.
CaitlinsDisneyDreamPictures074.jpg

CaitlinsDisneyDreamPictures073.jpg

I also ordered this for DH and DD but I don’t remember if they ate it when they got back or not

CaitlinsDisneyDreamPictures072.jpg

I finished up our packing and headed back to Shutters. It was very busy now but I managed to get in and out pretty quickly. I only bought 3 pictures since we hadn’t taken many. Next time I will make sure to take more pictures.
I wandered a little bit more. I checked out the areas on deck 4 and took a stroll outside which is kind of creepy at night since there was no one out there. The waves were much bigger than the previous nights. I could feel the motion this night a little bit more than the others. I had planned to go to Skyline to grab a drink but I didn’t think it would be a good idea that night.
It was finally time to get Caitlin. They were in the middle of some activity on the interactive floor so I sat on a bench in the back so she could finish. After about 5 minutes she saw me and asked if she could play a bit more, but if I could stay. I agreed and she played for a little while longer. We ended up getting back to the room right before DH. I wish I had known Caitlin was going to stay in the kids club so I could have gone to the movies but I did enjoy the alone time.

During my alone time I walked by the rebooking desk and really thought about whether or not to rebook for another cruise. I decided not to bother rebooking because I have no clue when we will be back.

Sounds like y'all had a very nice last night on the boat! I love the picture with Captain Mickey!

The desserts at Royal Palace were, by far, my favorite. I had the creme brûlée, which was great. And Ed had the soufflé. That soufflé is out of this world! OMG - what I would do for one of those right now. I have found a recipe for it online but have yet to attempt making it.

That's great that Caitlin stayed & enjoyed the kids club for awhile. I bet the alone time was nice.

I'm so glad y'all enjoyed the Dream! I can't wait to hear about MNSSHP.

And another great review!

We quite enjoyed the Royal Palace, well we made it our "every day" restaurant, mostly having breakfast and lunch there! ;)

Love the photo of Caitlin with the servers - she must have enjoyed all the attention! :thumbsup2

I love the picture with Captain Mickey!

Wow! All of your food looks so upscale and fancy. I am a little surprised your DH found anything he liked. I know I would have trouble.

Aww Captain Mickey is so cute! :thumbsup2

That souffle looks so good!

I love that frame and pillowcase, you just drop those off at the beginning of the cruise and they come back to you signed? That's a really cute idea, they should do that at Disney resorts too!

Is it cheaper to book another cruise while you're on the cruise?

I only just found your TR, and I really enjoyed reading it all. You took me back to the Dream cruise I was on this past summer -- good times!

Thank you as well for your FE descriptions. I've signed up for the FE exchange on the cruise I'm on this coming summer, and I haven't the foggiest idea what to get. Your TR has given me some really good ideas!

Take care,
Dave

Diane, I somehow missed the last update. I love the family photo with Captain Mickey; and the one of Caitlin with the two servers is great!

I really like the pillowcase and frame too.

Thanks! :)
Just finished reading your TR, that was fun, and looks like you all enjoyed, even with a few rough patches.

We are looking forward to our first ever cruise on the Dream Jan 29, and I hope the water is still as warm. I can't tell which restaurant I liked the best, but I loved looking at your food pictures, Mmmmmm.

I saw you had a waterproof camera, but if you mentioned what kind it was I missed it.
Could you tell me what type it is, we are thinking of getting one, because our point and shoot is too small and I don't really want to lug around our DSLR the whole time either. I don't want to worry about sand/water on our trip.

I'd appreciate it, thanks!

I think it is about time I finish this up. I wrote the last update about Pop/ MNSSHP the same day I wrote the last day on the Dream but closed Word without saving. I don’t really want to redo the whole thing since it feels like this trip was forever ago. However I don’t want to be one on those TR abandoners I seem around the Dis.

Here is my cliff notes version:

We were off the ship and on our way to Budget car rental by 9am. We got in our car and processed to take the right out of the parking lot instead of a left. Oops. Getting lost did not start our Disney day off in a great way.
Once we finally got on our way I decided it was best to drive to WDW without mentioning the fact that we were on our way to Disney. I did not bring up anything about stopping at DTD or what I would like to do that day.

Once we reached I4, DH asked where we were going. I explained that we could go to Pop or DTD. Since we were all hungry (It was close to 10 and no one had eaten yet) DH agreed to stop at DTD since it was closest. I was determined to make it to WPE for breakfast or lunch this trip since we have never been there.

Caitlin and I went to WPE, while DH went to EOS.

I ordered Caitlin the Belgium waffle and got myself the French toast. I forgot that the waffle came with whipped cream, bananas and strawberries. I should have asked for it plain since Caitlin won’t eat any of that. She made a face when it came but was too hungry to argue when I said I could wipe it off.

Both of our breakfast choices were fantastic. Caitlin managed to eat a full ¾ of her waffle and started on the last ¼. I was only able to eat about 2/3 of my French toast since it is so filling and such a large portion.

DisneyDreamCanon2011316.jpg

DisneyDreamCanon2011315.jpg

I have wanted to try WPE since I first saw it on Dizneat’s TRs. It always looks amazing and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to go back for breakfast and try lunch or dinner.

Dh did not make it back until we were almost done. He said there was a long line at EOS. I was hoping to try his sandwich since I have never had EOS but he ended up getting a breakfast BLT which is strange for someone who doesn’t like tomatoes. Shockingly he didn’t like it.

After a quick stop at WOD we were on our way to Pop. DH was miserable and wondered how exactly I had tricked him into agreeing to add the day at Disney. I admit it, I might have used a little trickery to get my way. I might have asked him to just say yes to something when he wasn’t really paying attention or fully understanding what he was agreeing to. Whatever, I stoop to new lows to get in more Disney time.

I used the Dwight Schrute method to get my way. If anyone watches the office, there is an episode where Dwight convinces Andy to sell him his car pretty cheap. I pretty much did the same thing to DH.

DisneyDreamCanon2011319.jpg

He mumbled something about not getting tricked again, blah blah blah. I blocked him out as we saw this.

DisneyDreamCanon2011318.jpg

I checked us in and found out our room location. We were in the 80’s section on the outside towards the parking lot. I did not put in a room request, but looking back I wish I had. I probably would have liked Pop better if we were somewhere else, even on the inside of the 80’s.

We found our room and settled in. I got dressed in my bathing suit and told Caitlin to get ready for the pool. We had no plans until MNSSHP that night which meant a whole pool day.

While everyone got ready for the pool I took a walk to explore and stopped at Petal on the way back.

(forget what this was, but it was yummy)
I walked back to the pool and took the path along the lake to check out the progress of the new resort.

I wish they had it a few years ago when Caitlin liked Little Mermaid, it looks so cute.

DisneyDreamSony2011328.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011329.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011330.jpg

I headed back to the room, but checked the pool first. DH and Caitlin were already swimming. I made a quick run to the room and grabbed my book. There was almost no one in the pool and all the lounges were empty. Perfect.
It was an absolutely beautiful day. No clouds, nice and warm but not too hot. I think it was low 80’s if I remember correctly.

DisneyDreamSony2011334.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011335.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011340.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011343.jpg

While swimming DH asked if there was a slide or hot tub at the main pool. I am pretty sure I went over this when picking Pop. He said to stay at Pop since it was only one night. Now, he stated that he needs a hot tub and will never stay in a value again.

After our swim we headed to Everything Pop for lunch.
DisneyDreamSony2011344.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011345.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011346.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011348.jpg

DH had a burger, Caitlin had chicken tenders and I had some nachos. I also got a pumpkin cupcake but that ended up in the trash. It was not very good.
After lunch we spent some time in the room. DH took a nap and Caitlin got dressed in her vampire costume. Then, she decided she didn’t want to wear a costume at all.

I was hoping to be at the MK by 4, but we didn’t end up getting there until almost 5.

DisneyDreamSony2011351.jpg

DisneyDreamSony2011353.jpg

The monorail was closed so we had to take the ferry. While on the ferry DH stated he will not return to Disney for 10 years. He pointed out that all the women seemed to be with other women and that I should just go with my sister from now on. Sounds good to me!

Once at MK we rode Space Mountain, people mover and the carousel.

DisneyDreamCanon2011333.jpg

DisneyDreamCanon2011333.jpg

Around 7ish we were hungry so we headed to Casey’s for dinner. We figured since the parade would start in an hour and we were already there, we might as well just grab a seat on Main St. DH and Caitlin found a spot while I got our food. It was very busy and it took FOREVER. It always seems like whatever line I chose doesn’t move. All the lines around me moved, just not mine.

Finally I got a hot dog for Caitlin, corn dog nuggets for myself and two orders of fries. (DH had already eaten once today and wasn’t hungry)

The corn dog nuggets were so yummy. I managed to eat 2 or three before DH spilled they on the ground. Caitlin had decided she didn’t want the hot dog b/c it was on a grinder roll instead of a hot dog bun (what’s up with that?). I don’t think anyone at the hot dog. I wanted to send DH back to the long line to replace my nuggets but by then Main St was filling up and I didn’t want to deal with saving his spot.

It seemed to take forever for the parade to start and there were a few times I thought about just getting up, but there were 3 things I wanted to do that day. WPE, see the parade and go on Thunder Mountain Railroad at night.
The sky was very gray that night and a perfect backdrop for the Villians to take over MK.
DisneyDreamCanon2011348.jpg

DisneyDreamCanon2011349.jpg

Once the parade started Caitlin and I loved it! I love the music. I was so glad that I stayed to watch it.

After the parade we headed to the stores to look for some Halloween gear but nothing appealed to me since they were out of the Halloween mugs.
We decided to skip the fireworks and headed for Thunder Mountain Railroad. It was a 20 minute wait. I have never been on this ride at night and it really makes a difference. It is so much better at night and so much fun to seat in the last seat which seems much faster.

Once we were on the fireworks started. It was pretty cool to see them while on the ride.

We got off and headed right back on. It was walk on by this point.

We got off the second time and Caitlin begged to go again. We headed back on.

While riding the ride the finale of the fireworks was going on. We were headed up the hill and the fireworks were exploding all around us. It was beautiful and the best fireworks view I have seen at MK. I don’t think we could have timed it better.

It was amazing. Even Dh loved it.

Afterwards we decided to do a loop through the park to see what else we wanted to do. I thought Caitlin would want to trick or treat but she didn’t want to wait in the lines (Halloween was only a week away) and she was okay skipping it. We also never managed to get any character pictures. The night seems to fly by.

We made a stop for some popcorn and ice cream and decided to head out. We had to be up early to make our flight the next morning and we thought it was best to end the night on a high note.

On the way out the last Villians show was going on so we watched from the pathway on the side of the castle.

As we were on our way to exit we spotted Duffy with no line.
DisneyDreamSony2011412.jpg

Caitlin was thrilled he was there since she had missed him last year. There was also a candy stop there so the CM loaded her up with her favorite, Skittles.

We got back to Pop right before midnight. I headed to the store to buy Caitlin a stuffed baby Pegasus and stopped at the food court for a snack. When I got back to the room everyone else was already asleep.
It had turned out to be a great night. DH went with the flow (probably since he figures he won’t be back any time soon) and Caitlin had dropped her all about me attitude. It was how I wish all of our time could have been.
We were up very early the next morning and were on our way home by 9am.

That’s it. That was our trip. The cruise was amazing although they were some rough spots. When we returned home DH was determined to start cruising every year, however I think he realizes he will have to pay for it and hasn’t been mentioning it lately.

He would like to try RCL next time since he liked the look of the Freedom of the Seas. I have no problems trying something new, but he will need to be in charge of the trip. I told him if he wants to go in 2012 or 2013 we should book now but he hasn’t said to. I give up.
He has also said he would go back on DCL but doesn’t like that the price is so much higher. He refuses to pay anything extra to go on DCL but if I want to pay it that’s up to me.

One thing I wanted to mention is that we were orginally booked to sail Nov 3-6. It turned out that they were never able to dock at Castaway Cay. I am so glad I switched. It would have been such a different experience if we never made it to the island. It is the best part.

Over Thanksgiving I decided that I plan on booking Thanksgiving 2014 on a cruise. I am hoping DCL will be doing the Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy that week and if so that’s where we will be. I told DH “I am booking a cruise Thanksgiving of 2014. You can come or not, but Caitlin and I are going” He said something about how it won’t be DCL, but then I explained that he has all of 2012 and 2013 to fit in whatever vacation plans he wants. He said that is fair. I have a feeling there will be no cruises in between if left up to DH. We would like to do an adults only cruise to Bermuda and since we don’t have to buy airfare it might happen.

I am hoping to do DCL but we’ll see how much it cost and what the itineraries are. Plus, Caitlin will be 10 and if she wants nothing to do with Disney we will probably try RCL. We’ll see.

As for actual Disney trips? No idea. I am hoping to do the Princess Half Marathon in 2014 and have decided whatever year I do that will be a year of Disney. It will be so much cheaper to just buy the annual pass and get all the Disney things I want to do done. A November trip to see the xmas decorations, an October Food and Wine trip, a Half Marathon trip. This will all most likely be somewhere between 2014 and 2015. DH does not want to go back to Disney so they will either be just Caitlin and I or maybe my sister and mother can come along. Who knows? Caitlin has only 3 more years in elementary school and I won’t pull her out of school once she goes past that.

Another huge factor will be if we ever get pregnant. I know I have mentioned that we were trying over the summer but since DH only had about 3 days off the whole summer and I was working full time it became too stressful. We decided to take a break for awhile and are hoping it will happen sometime in 2012. If we have another kid I can’t imagine DH not wanting to go for their first trip.

I have been reading all of your TRs but haven’t really been commenting. Too jealous, I guess.

Thanks for reading.:flower3:

Sounds like y'all had a very nice last night on the boat! I love the picture with Captain Mickey!

The souffle was amazing. I would love to have on right now. I have been on Weight Watchers for the last month and all of my desserts have been so depressing.

I am so glad we went on the Dream. It would have never happened if I didn't read your TR. Thank you so much:flower3:

And another great review!

We quite enjoyed the Royal Palace, well we made it our "every day" restaurant, mostly having breakfast and lunch there! ;)

Love the photo of Caitlin with the servers - she must have enjoyed all the attention! :thumbsup2

I wish we could have made it to RP again. We need a longer cruise to fit in more.

I love the picture with Captain Mickey!

Wow! All of your food looks so upscale and fancy. I am a little surprised your DH found anything he liked. I know I would have trouble.

DH and I were talking about the trip a few weeks ago and I mentioned that I was suprised that he didn't order something simpler. He said he wanted me to have my dream cruise including having an adult actually eating from the adults menu. He said he didn't love the food and next time, when it isn't our anniversary he will be getting his beloved burgers and fries.

You would have no problem finding something. They could make anything simple, just a plain steak, baked chicken or salmon. Plus there is always the kids menu in an adult size portion.

If you book another cruise on board you only have to pay 10%for your deposit instead of 20. I think there is a 10% discount plus an onboard credit. The cheapest way to book a cruise to to do it well in advance. The day they release the dates for sale will always be best.

I love the pillowcase. I guess if they did it at the resorts no one would pay for those expensive character meals.

Dave

Glad I could give you some ideas. I love reading TR's and getting new ideas. I already know what I want to make next time we cruise in 3 years.

Diane, I somehow missed the last update. I love the family photo with Captain Mickey; and the one of Caitlin with the two servers is great!

I really like the pillowcase and frame too.

I love the pillowcase and frame. They are just too cute. Caitlin has the pillowcase on her wall with her Minnie ears hanging on it.

Thanks!

I have the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX10 16.2mp. We have used it for the last few trips, waterparks, beaches and it has held up well. I like the pictures it takes. The only thing that annoys me is that sometimes I have trouble changing the settings but I am not very camera savy so that can just be me.

I have heard good things about Canon PowerShot D10.

I hope you enjoy your cruise:)

Awesome trip report so far. I love your FE gifts, I think they're so creative and unique. I'm sure kids would love the Vampire blood anti-bac. It's neat that you themed them to the holiday. I hope you finish up before you get the Disney blues!

I'm so glad you got to experience MNSSHP! Sounds like y'all ended up having a really great night, too!

I really enjoyed all of your pictures. The Art of Animation resort looks so cute.

I wish you & DH lots of luck in 2012 for getting pregnant! Sounds like you won't be doing any TR's but if you're on the boards, definitely feel free to drop a line my way! :goodvibes

I've really enjoyed getting to "know" you & your family through your last 2 TR's. Thank you for letting us come along for your family vacation. And I'm so thankful y'all enjoyed the cruise. I was so nervous y'all would hate it!

Well obviously you finished! I'm a goof ball and missed the last couple of updates...no clue how I managed to do that! (I blame studying for ridiculous amounts hours right now - I have cumulative exams coming up in a week).

It seems like you weren't really all that impressed with the food on the cruise. Did you ever do a DCL before and was this food worse or better than that cruise? I'm on the Magic to Canada next year and I'm kind of disappointed to have read your reviews. The food at the parks is so good, I wouldn't expect the food on the cruises to be less than Disney standard! :( Did you think the food at WDW or on DCL was better?

I'm glad you and DD made up towards the end. I could almost feel your frustration through your TR about her. But it looks like it all worked out :)

I loved the frames and pillow cases you did. Those are really awesome ideas. I might steal that for the upcoming cruise. Did you just ask your room attendant guy (I don't know their title) to have the characters all sign it or was it something through Disney?

Thanks for the TR! Loved it!

Thank you for a great trip report!

I was happy to hear that you liked WPE for breakfast (apart from the cream and fruit on Caitlin's breakfast).
Your last day looked fun - I love a nice poolday and then the party at the end of the day! So much fun!
Thanks again for taking us all on the trip!
