......the fact that my shorts do not fit me They were already the largest I could get back in May I've obviously been over doing it on the food front.

I don't know where I'm gonna get some shorts at this late notice. The shops here in the UK certainly aren't selling anyway Brrrrr

Do you know of any shops near WDW, for the fuller figure woman, where I could get some, otherwise if the weather is hot then I'm gonna be hotter.

Yes I know I could go on a diet but purleaze it's less than 3 weeks to go and I don't think I'm gonna be able to shift that much weight in that time and besides - I LIKE MY FOOD

Any ideas folks?

You could try Walmart, Sam. I've bought shorts at Walmart, if they can fit me, they can fit anyone.

Not to worry----I'm on the chuncky side.....my thought if I go on a diet now....no one would have anything to compare me to. This way you'll get a Dis-con II me....next year You'll see the Dis-conIII me. A lot of time went into reasoning this out----makes all the sense in the world to me.......

PS ---not sure what kind of shorts you like ( I prefer the ones with a little elastic on the side) but Levi Dockers and Lee's for women fit nicely. I beleive they each have a web site. Hope they have these in England.

If you are looking to buy some shorts there are lots of outlet stores in the WDW area, where I am sure you would be able to purchase a lot at very reasonable prices.

I am sure there are several people who would love to go on a shopping spree with you.

Seems like a lot of us are in the same boat, so to speak. I have one advantage, all the stores here sell shorts all the time. Sam, if you want to PM me, maybe we can arrange something, I could find some and get them to your hotel (hold for arrival) or I could bring a couple of pair with me (tee hee, more room for me to bring stuff back) If wouldn't be a problem, I shop ALL the time.

I'm another "Was gonna go on a diet for DISCon but didn't"er!!!! No prob...but hopefully you can find some shorts cause probably like you - I HATE BEING IN WARM WEATHER AND WEARING PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ICK!!! If it's above 70, I'm probably gonna be in shorts!!!

Hey guess what they have a store at PRemium Outlets yeeha that's where Emma and I are shopping on our first morning so I feel very relieved. Thank god for Big Dogs and thank god for Ray - if I hadn't said it before I'll say it again DISCon wouldn't be the same without you Ray

Chris, I'm LOL-ing here because if it's in the low 70's, you'll see me with long pants and a sweatshirt on. I've been living in the tropics for so long that when it gets below 75, I start shivering.

it it gets over 60 I 'm in shorts, that's a heatwave for me!!!
I am lucky I fit into my summer clothes, I have lost some weight this year so they fit better than they did before , I would like to loose a bit more but it's not a real concern with me , I'm a tall person.
It's going to be fun to be flying out in winter clothes and arrive to Florida with them, I feel like I strip on my flight down when I go to the bathroom and I start changing clothes!

dieting is an evil word - yes I very much need to go on one and stick to it myself.

However I have a tendency to get hot - family thing - so that even shorts don't help - I also take some skirts that are light - but living in England you probably don't have them.

I will definitely make a stop at Walmart if you want a ride.

Oh I am trying - I have Slim Fast for breakfast.

Sam, dear! You can have all of my shorts!! I have "ungrown" out of them and they are all too big, now! I started dieting in January and even though I've only managed to lose 34 lbs., I must have toned up big time because I am doing the baggy grunge look with a lot of my clothes!! Luckily, I didn't get rid of all the smaller stuff I used to wear and it's almost like getting a new wardrobe! Whooo-Hooo, I'm gonna say good-by to the Plus Size department any day now!!!

to read the people in cold climates will be wearing shorts if its 70 or above and those of us in warmer areas will be in pants. I won't be breaking out my shorts unless it breaks 80. Is the weather just like in Jan where it can be 60-90 ??? I have been there for both. This is a packing delima. I was hoping it would be cooler like 70-75. It's 71 in here right now( inside) and I'm reaching for a sweater. LOL
