I'm Not Old Enough to Drive to Disney World? May/June 2011 PTR**Back Home! 6/5**

Hope you guys had a great Easter weekend. I am sorry that I have not been on here for a while, things have been crazy here. So excited that are trip is only 34 days away.

I wish we were staying to Suday also, but at least we are taking a later flight on friday. The two flights earlier that day are still open so I am hoping for the one that arrives at 2:00 so that our boys can play at the pool for a while.

Did you get more Mickey Mail today? We did, somehow it seems so much more real now that I have something physical in my hands.

We're 32 days away today and me and all of the kids are so excited!!! My sister and her husband admit to being excited but she keeps telling me I'm going too crazy and that I've infected her kids with my Disneymania. I promptly high fived all the kids!!

Ok, so for our 3rd full day on Wednesday....it's Magic Kingdom! We'll make rope drop and the plan is to do as much as we can til about 1:00. Then it's back to the room for our daily pool time and relaxing before we go check out DTD (or maybe Boardwalk!!)

I've started packing the things I can pack, and now I'm working on our window decorations! My sister rolled her eyes when I asked her if she will put her kid's decorations in her window or if they need to all go in my window. She's so boring!!! She better loosen up once we're in the World!!

28 days til trip time!!! I'm starting to think of little random things that I need to buy/do/find out about before our trip! Plus, someone got me thinking about the possibility of fitting all of my stuff in to our 2 carry-ons and not checking any luggage (the logic being I'll save the bag fee for the one bag I would be checking and then I won't worry about my bag getting lost or damaged) but really I think that won't work for me! I've started getting everything packed that I can, and I'll do a trial run this week to see how much space all my stuff will take up!

Here's a picture that I meant to add last week but I had to find my usb cord that fits my phone. Last week my son pointed out this cloud to me after I got him from school. He said "LOOK! That cloud has Mickey ears!" I had to pull off onto a side street so I could take a picture with my phone so the "ears" floated away a bit by the time I took this:

Still looked like a Hidden Mickey to me!! I texted the picture my nieces' phone and they were excited too but my sister just said I'm weird, but who cares what she thinks!!!

Ok, our Thursday plans are for DHS! We'll get there for rope drop. We have our only ADR of the trip at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater for lunch. My boys saw some pictures of it last year and said they would like to go there (I think mostly because of the car tables and because it looks like a drive in. We frequent the local drive in movies here and they think this is a neat idea!) If things so smoothly we will stay to make sure we get our Must Dos completed before heading elsewhere. This will be the night that we try to get anything else my sister and her family want to see done since they will be leaving the next day. I wish she had opted to stay the extra 2 nights!

Oh well! So excited that we're in the 20s of our countdown!!

First of all.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you moms out there!!


Three weeks from today I'll arrive at Pop to begin our fabulous WDW vacation!!!

I'm getting more anxious with each passing day!!! My sister and her family will check out Friday morning from Pop and start their road trip back home. Me and my kids will use Friday and Saturday to revisit the parks to ride a few of our faves again and shop a bit. Saturday we'll go to DHS for SWW atleast for a bit!
Sunday our flight home is VERY early at 7:15am so we'll have to be up very early to get back on ME. I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow. (Hee, hee! This is one of my favorite lines from my favorite movie of all time! Know what movie it's from?)

The next 3 weeks will fly by (I hope) and I'll be in my happy place!!!

Tomorrow I can do online check in!!! I always get soooooo excited for online check in time!! I'm getting anxious! My kids and my nieces and nephew are going crazy!! My sister will leave next friday after her kids get out on their last day of school and me and my kids are driving to Dallas on Saturday and hanging out with my parents before they take us to the airport the next morning!! The last week til we leave is gonna be so hard!! I hope it goes by fast but then I want my week at WDW to go sloooooowwwwww......

One week from today we'll be at WDW!!! It's my oldest son's bday today and we're just having a small family ice cream party, but we're excited to all get together and eat ice cream and brownies!! I decided I rather not have a regular party and use that money for our trip. My son is fine with it since he got the gift he really really wanted.

I hope the week doesn't drag along since we're so ready to get to Disney!

I will be in WDW in 6 days and a few hours ago I broke one of my toes!!! I have to admit I break one of my pinky toes atleast once a year (it has no feeling in it anymore), and it's been 7 months since I last broke it.....but this time I broke the one next to my pinky toe and it is pretty bad! My sofa jumped out in front of me while I was walking by and grabbed my toe and snapped it backwards!

It was visibly out of place and hurt like heck to put back in place and tape to my other toes! I didn't go to the doctor (yet) because I know the drill, but this time my entire foot is swollen! I'm gonna see what it looks like in the morning, but with no insurance, I really don't want to go to a dr again to only be told that all that can be done is tape it and take some ibuprofen! I really hope it feels ok by Sunday!

Hello fellow Texan!!! Thanks for stopping by! Sorry my PTR isn't so exciting, but I promise my actual trip report will be full of adventure and laughs (especially with my newly broken toe!).

Oh your PTR is great in fact it was just right..It was not boring at all, in fact we have a lot in common..Not only are we both Texans but we are relatively close, we are in between San Angelo and Big Spring..And we break our toes a lot and we both have dads that are ex cops...lol..I am a single mom as well, my kids are older but I have been a single mom for about 10 years and have done both of our previous trips alone with them, and we flew both times, I thought my parents were going to have a coronary our 1st trip, however, I love to travel and we do a lot of it now and they are more at ease..You guys are so close to your trip..I am so jealous....Have fun and I cannot wait to read your TR

Are we like the clutziest people alive. Here we are less than a week before going to Disney and you breck one of your toes and I skined the **** out of my elbow. Don't we know better than to get hurt right before our trips.

I'll make you a deal. You be my extra arm and I'll be your extra foot. Between the two of us we should make one completly in tact peson.

Oh wow! You ARE relatively close (for Texas!) and that's neat how much we have in common! I'm so excited to get to the World but as usual, I'm worried I'm forgetting something important (even though I've checked and rechecked my packing list and itinerary!)

It's 12:45am my time and I'm supposed to be asleep and waiting to get my DS13 at 2am (he's at a end of school lock in) but I can't sleep because we leave in the morning with my parents driving to Dallas. We're spending the night in Dallas and me and my kids fly out of Dallas to Orlando on Sunday..... well, I'm taking too much crap to WDW and I can't get everything to fit!!!!

Now I'm off to take everything out and rearrange so that I don't end up checking 2 bags and paying extra $$$$
