Hi im new to the forums the names Joseph and lets just say I have been going to universal orlando for a very long time and lets just say that i like to refer to universal as my home away from home. I have had absolutly no problems there ever. But I did make a big name for myself by setting a park record on the revenge of the mummy in nov 2007 101 rides in a row in one day and 2 weeks after 132 rides in a row in one day and have made many friends with the staff there and now as luck would have it I WORK there now at the classic monsters cafe seasonally and Its the least stressfull job ive ever had. Too bad monsters is not open as much as it used to be. Bad ecomomy i suppose but ill stop going to universal when I kick the oxygen habit!

I bet it's the least stressful job you've ever had. The only other less stressful job on property: Green Eggs & Ham in Islands.

How did you manage to ride 132 times in 1 day, did they put you in a car and just let you sit there? If you could manage a ride every 5 minutes that would take over 11 hours to do, practically nonstop with no breaks from the moment the park opened right until closing time.

You've must of had some pretty good connections to ride anything in UO 132 times in a day.:lmao: Congrats on that...:)

Welcome!!!:thumbsup2

I love this site!! I have been to Universal maybe 6 times but just LOVE it...everyone here is very helpful....

I'll buy 50-60 in one day,but 132 is just not realistic.I remember going to Universal very often the years after IOA opened and riding Hulk and DD almost repeatedly and the most I got was 15-20 in one day for each, and this was on slow days when when you could get multiple rides without big lines, the problem with that is that the parks usually close at 7pm or earlier when it's slow like that.So if you do 1 ride every ten minutes in a day it's open from 9-9pm,that's 6 rides an hour times 12 and you're still short about 60 rides,if you still managed to get to ride over and over without getting off and rode it once every 5 minutes,I suppose you could get close to doing it but you would probably need to avoid going to the bathroom for hours and hours to get close to that 132.If you actually did hit those numbers then that's awesome!!

This thread reminds me of a poster who was obsessed with riding Expedition Everest and would ride it like 6 days a week,he would update when he hit 3000 rides,3100 rides and so on.I think he said his most in one day was 58.

I posed a question earlier, perhaps you missed it. So I'll ask again:

How did you manage to ride 132 times in 1 day, did they put you in a car and just let you sit there? If you could manage a ride every 5 minutes that would take over 11 hours to do, practically nonstop with no breaks from the moment the park opened right until closing time.

What happened was i caught them on a very slow day and i was there open to close with no breaks at all and imoved very fast trough the queue and averaged about 8 rides an hour i think but they did keep track and i got 132 i got to go trough the shortest queue they had and i did it they were open late on the day i did it to so i had 12 hours to get the job done
