This is our first time and I have no idea what to expect...We have the dining plan and I am trying to book some things today and get it all taken care of. I don't mins paying some additional if we burn our package up to have some additional sit down meals. Do you try to get at least one reservation daily for a sit down meal? Or is it nice to have a couple days of just counter service?

Our flight arrives the first day at 1:30 and I scheduled Tutto for 6:30 (we are staying at the beach club resort and I figured we would walk around Epcot the first day and use our pool and just explore Epcot and then have dinner and maybe go over to the Magic Kingdom for fireworks after dinner? Nothing too crazy and rest up for a full day in the park the next day.

Day two I planned to stay in the park all day (MK) and then I planned a Chef Mickey Dinner at 7:30p.m.

Day three seaworld in the daytime or a waterpark (it's going to be July)and then come back get cleaned up at out hotel and since we are going to be at the Beach Club near Epcot we planned do do the Akershaus Princess thing so they could see more of the princess gals than just Cinderella and it is closer to our hotel and they can wear their dresses to it and we can explore more of Epcot after from the first evening after dinner.

Day four MK ALL DAY again. Reservations at the Flying fish at 7:10. My dd heard you can paint white chocolate here from her friend and this is all she cares about plus she likes seafood. (I think she is going to be dissapointed abotu the painting of white chocolate, but it's funny what kids get excited about)
We have three full days after this and then we leave on the fourth which I will of course not make reservations on...Do all of these reservations burn two dining tickets per person? (I am ok with that just checking) We usually eat lite for lunch and it is going to be mid july and super hot during the day and we are not going to have hearty appetites anyhow. Any advice on my tenetative schedule thus far?

Thanks!!!

Would it be best to switch the chef mickey to a breakfast/brunch reservation?

also is there a place close and quick for b'fast daily that we can grab a quick something or get something daily if we have nothing planned that day near the beach club? If so is it just cereal and such or is it something hot? Do you use your dining plan for that or if you are booking meals would you not waste your doing plan on that and just pay for those and use your dp towards your $ meals?
This is just all so WOW to me. I am uber confused. :scared1:

I think your schedule looks great so far. It's nice to have a table service planned each day otherwise I get tired of eating the same thing at the counter service places. But at the same time those ADR's kind of tie you down. Of those ADR's you mentioned, I believe the only one that takes 2 table service dining plan credits is Flying Fish. We've never been on the dining plan so I don't know all the ins and outs of it. For quick breakfasts close there is Boardwalk Bakery. We had egg croissants there on our last trip. Also, Beach Club has the Marketplace which I thought had some options too. Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT has breakfast as well.

When you book a reservation for 1900 Park Fare, if you want to do the CInderella's Happily Ever after Dinner do you just book around dinner time and they assume that is what you want?

Yes, book for dinner. Breakfast is something like the Supercalablahblah breakfast. :) No lunch.

The dinner at 1900 Park Fare is the Cinderella dinner. It is not the most wonderful food, but we like the character interaction. The step sisters are hilarious. We do the DDP and we really like the fact that we can relax part of the day and sit instead of always being on the go, but others like to go and feel that ADRs are very restricting. We build our schedule around them and them do certain parks on certain days. It works out well for us. We have two little kids so stopping during the day is a must and it's not for us to unwind. I don't know what you have planned for the other days, but if you have any questions LMK.

First of all, congrats on your upcoming trip!!! So exciting!!! The Beach Club is really nice. We've never stayed there, but we've visited and eaten there numerous times. It's a beautiful resort, and the pool is super fun for everyone. Just one suggestion would be on the first night, since it's a long day, I would recommend just staying in EPCOT for Illuminations after your Tutto res. The fireworks are at 9:00 pm and are amazing. Also if the weather permits, I would ask for a table outside at Tutto. I would also wait for it, if it's like 10-15 mins for sure. I loooove the atmosphere there. We love taking our time with dinner, then walking out to get a spot for the fireworks.

Have a great trip! Good luck with all your planning! :goodvibes:

ETA: Just wanted to say the reason I recommend doing this, is because even if the fireworks at MK are at say 10 or 11pm, you have to walk all the way through EPCOT to the monorail to MK. Or you could go back to your hotel and take the bus from there, but it's about the same. It just becomes a lot of schlepping and long night really easily.
