I am looking for a fun place to eat on the day of my daughter's 13th Birthday.

She's a little too old for character dinning but we would like to do something fun.

Any Suggestions?????

how about whispering canyon cafe? or, though not necessarily fun in the sense of WCC, but "grown up," afternoon tea at the grand floridian. if she is "into" sports how about ESPN on the boardwalk? just a few thoughts. hope this helps.

O'hana is also fun. It's not a character meal but they do coconut races and hoola hoop contests. We've seen kids of ALL ages participate in the activities. It's a very "family" oriented type of atmosphere.

We did this last year when my middle daughter turned 13. I gave her a chance to think about where she wanted to go, and she knew right away - 50's Prime Time Cafe!!!

Just enough attention to be really fun, yummy homestyle cooking that she would actually eat - and they sang to her - she even got a birthday card signed by Mom and the whole restaurant "family"

She loved it!

We did Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue for my 14th, 16th and 20th bday. (Kinda fun having a summer bday! ;) ) I love shows like that, and like being in the center of attention for a bit (they ask for bdays and anniversaries - or at least, they used to!)
