I'M JUST SHOWBOATIN' AROUND THE WORLD! & getting pooped on. Jan 13 TR! NEW TR POSTED!

PLEASE nobody tell my husband that I'm as addicted to this trip report as his grandma is to soap operas!

(Do you think if I refresh often enough the next post will be there?)

Oh Dani don't you know I can't handle cliff hangers but I have a sneaking suspicion I can't guess what happened ;)

Oh Lord, those Florida birds are insane! That's crazy. Lately in my neighborhood I've been seeing these HUGE flocks of birds. They'll just land in my yard and there are HUNDREDS of them. When they all fly away it's like a huge shadow came over the window. It's freaky. BUT ANYWAYS... that bird picture reminded me. Hahaha!

I WANT TO GO TO ANIMAL KINGDOM AT NIGHT!!! Ugh. It just looks amazing!

Bahahha, yall would like have two cows each if you ever went in the summer. A 50 minute wait would be ideal!

Finally caught back up.....popcorn::
Add two more things to the Disney Must Do list....Animal Kingdom at night and Raglan Road. Don't know why we have never done AK at night? And I have wanted to try Raglan Road since it opened. It just seems like a fun place. But my family can be soooooooo picky about trying new food! Unfortunately for them I love bread pudding and you have just convinced me that there is a bowl of deliciousness calling my name at Raglan Road!
Poor Bruce:worried:I hope he gets to enjoy some Disney time! And I hope none of you caught the bug! I'm like you in Disney, GermX and Clorox Wipes all day long! And I swear mousekeeping must think we are seriously sickly people for the amount and variety of medicines I bring. Gotta be prepared for anything;)

Oh how I love Animal Kingdom at night. But I hate that you didn't get to experience the peaceful tranquility of an empty park in the dark! I'm shocked that at AK, at NIGHT, in JANUARY it was like this. *shudder* I hope the crowds are not like this in May. Oh Lawd.

I'm joining the party! A little late, but whatevs!
Sounds like I'm gonna love your report just by reading the intro!

Seeing as we both love saying "womp womp" and hate awkward silences, that's pretty much a formula for love!

:rotfl:

Yay! Off to reading!

Haha! We both got excited about the lights! I think we actually had some similar shots! Sorry about the wait, ugh! Savannah & I had such luck with AK and our multiple EE rides. So crazy how busy it was this Jan/Feb! Can't wait to find out about your cliff hanger!

Love all those pictures! DAK is open a couple nights until 9:00 next week. I really want to see the park at night!

Oh my the birds. I was totally blown away the first time I saw that. The trees were almost completely white.

So glad you got to do Everest. I can't imagine being at AK and not riding it because, I kinda like it. :rolleyes1

Your "not thrilled" photo in the line made me almost spit out my drink. :rotfl2:
Perfection!

Really looking forward to more AK at night. I've never seen it under the lights before in person.

Awww too bad that girl didn't like EE!!! AK looks gorgeous in the evening though - I love all of those lights! :goodvibes

Haha, if anything it was hilarious. I think she secretly liked it. ;)

AK is AMAZING at night. I can't wait until I post my next update because the photos do it no justice... but give you a good idea of how amazing it is!

Ooh, a cliffhanger! I love a good cliffhanger! I'm gonna guess that someone gifted you with fastpasses?

What a bummer that the line was so long! But good that it was such a fun ride!! And such a giant bummer that Bruce was still sick!

Mwahaha, I love me some cliffhangers.. Well, not so much when I'm the reader but as the writer, it's pretty fun. We'll see what happens though... Unbelievable could very well mean something not so awesome. :(

That line was ridiculous and it was the longest I've ever waited for EE... but I did appreciate getting to really look at all of the details in the queue!

Okay, obviously I LOVELOVELOVE your photos!
But here's the thing...I don't think I've seen any of that before! REALLY! I haven't looked up, down, or all around in the EE queue at all, as I'm usually just flying through the line. I have totally been missing out! Even when Brandon took a minute to snap a few photos, he only had time for a couple. We need a 45 minute wait!:lmao:

Way to leave me with a cliffhanger!

Oh hey, thanks lady! Hahaha, we're the same way, so I'm trying to look at it as a positive thing to have the time to really look over everything in the queue! Buuuut as much as I love the queue, I would prefer to rid EE 3 times during the 45 minutes we had to wait. :rotfl:

I'm just evil, I know. Mwahaha.

PLEASE nobody tell my husband that I'm as addicted to this trip report as his grandma is to soap operas!

(Do you think if I refresh often enough the next post will be there?)

Haha this comment seriously made my day when I read it! I even showed it to Matt! Thank you so much and I'm so glad you've enjoyed my TR so much! I promise, an update is coming soon... Hoping I can get it written and posted by tomorrow! :goodvibes

Oh Dani don't you know I can't handle cliff hangers but I have a sneaking suspicion I can't guess what happened ;)

Hahaha, you neeeever know! It was one of the craziest things ever for us.

gahhhhh tell me you didn't really end it like that AGGHHHHHHHHHH lol

Bahaha, I am evil, I know. I promise a new update quite soon!

Oh Lord, those Florida birds are insane! That's crazy. Lately in my neighborhood I've been seeing these HUGE flocks of birds. They'll just land in my yard and there are HUNDREDS of them. Bahahha, yall would like have two cows each if you ever went in the summer. A 50 minute wait would be ideal!

Those birds are cray cray, seriously. Those birds creep me out though.. that's insane that you get flocks in your yard! We just tend to see a few crows chilling out in ours, hahaha.

AK is the best at night, seriously. I wish they stayed open later more often because it's just perfect.

Hahaha, I know, which is why I refuuuuse to go any time other than a slower time. I will never handle the crowds and heat in the summer! I went once when I was 12 in June/July and the crowds were pretty bad, soooo yup, I'm sticking with my "quieter" times... though this trip was not very quiet!

YAY for being caught up!

AK at night is a definite must do, it's amazing! I'm guessing you haven't done it since it's not normally open very late. This was the ONE night of our trip that it was and we made sure to plan it into our evening!

And RAGLAN ROAD! Yum. You have to check it out! Even with a picky family, I'm sure you could find something to eat there! They have all sorts of food, burgers, fries, everything! The bread pudding is so so good.

And yeah, poor Bruce indeed. :( We'll see what happens in future updates, buuuuut yeah.. it's interesting to say the least.

Oh how I love Animal Kingdom at night. But I hate that you didn't get to experience the peaceful tranquility of an empty park in the dark! I'm shocked that at AK, at NIGHT, in JANUARY it was like this. *shudder* I hope the crowds are not like this in May. Oh Lawd.

Meeee toooo... except that it was so BUSY! Blergh. I totally thought it'd have cleared out but the crowds were nuts! And like you said, in January! It was so much busier than we thought it'd be. I'm feeling the same way about September; hoping the crowds a lot less crazy.

I'm joining the party! A little late, but whatevs!
Sounds like I'm gonna love your report just by reading the intro!

Yay! Off to reading!

OH YAY! I'm glad you've joined, because it's never too late.. and heck, I'm only on day 3 here! Hahaha.. I'm glad you say wompwomp, too! It's such a perfect way to end sad statements.

Glad to have you along for the ride. :goodvibes

Haha that's exactly what I thought of when I saw you update! So funny. You guys had a lot of luck! I think our issues with crowds had to do with MLK Jr. weekend.. there were SO many people there because of the long weekend! Such a bummer, since it was way less crazy in previous years!

Love all those pictures! DAK is open a couple nights until 9:00 next week. I really want to see the park at night!

Thank you so much!! You should absolutely try to get there at night. It's SO amazing. I can't wait to post another update here soon with more photos!

Oh my the birds. I was totally blown away the first time I saw that. The trees were almost completely white.

Perfection!

Really looking forward to more AK at night. I've never seen it under the lights before in person.

Yeah, I had no idea! And that was the only time we saw them all in that area! So crazy.

Psh, there was no way we weren't going to ride it that night... and well, especially when it's dark out... the coolest thing EVER.

Hahahaha, I'm glad my ridiculous face made you laugh. I'm kind of known for them. :rotfl:

It's beautiful.. easily one of the coolest experiences during our trip was seeing everything lit up, especially in Asia. :thumbsup2

Hi! I'm a little late in joining your TR, but I'm here now! (I also plan on going back and reading your old TRs when I finish this one!)

Your video was AWESOME!! Seriously, I'm so impressed.

On an unrelated note, every time I read Bruce's name, all I hear in my head is a monotone "Hi, Bruce." from the Fish Eaters Anonymous meeting in Finding Nemo. :goodvibes

YAY on joining the DVC! My aunt and uncle joined back in the 90s and I *think* their home resort is OKW too. We (all 16 people in my extended family) stayed there on a trip back in 1998 and I loved it, even as an 11 year old. ;)

Those birds look too large to fit on those tiny little branches comfortably... crazy birds!

I've never been to AK at night! UGH THE SUSPENSE. :hyper:

OMG I just posted about Animal Kingdom at night in my Feb. TR! It was my first time there at night and I LOVED it! I love Asia SOOOOOO much, so I was so excited to see it all lit up! Your pictures are so much better than mine though, haha! I need a real camera!!!

I saw those birds on that tree too! It was so weird, I had no idea those birds even when in trees, there were so many!

Ahhh a cliffhanger, what happens???? :scared1::eek:

Hahah I actually LOL'd out loud at the pic of the car you designed!
She's beautiful!

My mom said that the new Test Track is like one big Chevy ad...
Guess I'll have to check it out myself when I go again (hopefully soon)!

Those trolls....oh my. Why haven't I ever noticed those before?
BRB, gonna go add them to my "must buy" list...

:upsidedow

OMG THOSE HOVEROUND COMMERCIALS. As soon as I read the word "hoveround" (which I didn't even catch as an incorrect word, lolz) I immediately thought of the lady declaring her love at the good ol' GC only to read it seconds later a bit further down in your report!

:rotfl:

I JUST LOVE YOUR REPORT!

P.S. I also have to throw in that I just died laughing at your monorail spiel blasting through your car speakers story. Literally, died!

:rotfl2:

Though I haven't posted much lately, I've definitely been following along! So, so sorry to hear that Bruce wasn't feeling well. Poor guy! I sure hope he got better and was able to enjoy the rest of the trip.

I gotta say, Dani, you have a great eye for photos! You really got some great shots of AK at night! And I have to say that I'm totally jealous that you got to be there at night. I've always thought it would be SO cool to ride EE at night!!!

Aaah, I can't wait to hear what happened with EE...oh, the suspense!

Oh no worries at all! It's never too late to join, and considering this is only Day 3 of 10, you're not late whatsoever, haha. :)

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching it!!

Hahaha, Bruce's favorite Pixar character IS Bruce, so that's kind of perfect!!

OH YAY! That's where Matt's parents own, as well. I really enjoyed OKW and would stay there again, though I do have a love affair with BC. :rotfl:

Yeah, those birds are crazy... and weird that they made those branches their home!

Haha I will end the suspense here soon when I post another update.. I can't keep you guys hanging for TOO long.

A CLIFFHANGER!!!
Why, why, why......The torture......

:faint:

Hahaha, an update is coming soon, I promise!!

OMG I just posted about Animal Kingdom at night in my Feb. TR! It was my first time there at night and I LOVED it! I love Asia SOOOOOO much, so I was so excited to see it all lit up! Your pictures are so much better than mine though, haha! I need a real camera!!!

OMG I know, I'm still laughing at how similar our updates are about AK at night. So funny!

Yeah I had no idea, either, but that was so crazy they were all hanging out there!

You will soon find out! I couldn't leave people hanging for too long, hahaha.

Hahah I actually LOL'd out loud at the pic of the car you designed!

:rotfl:

I JUST LOVE YOUR REPORT!

Hahaha, yeah, that car was really absurd-looking. JUST HOW WE ROLL!

New TT is kind of a big Chevy ad but it's still the same ride. I don't HATE it, I just don't see the point of the refurb!

Haha those trolls were so weird. I'd love to know a person who has purchased them!

HOVEROUND HOVEROUND!! I'm glad you thought the same thing I do... It still CRACKS me up! :rotfl:

P.S. I also have to throw in that I just died laughing at your monorail spiel blasting through your car speakers story. Literally, died!

:rotfl2:

Bahaha, I'm glad you thought it was hilarious because IT WAS. Oh my God, the look on Amy's face was hilarious. :rotfl:

Though I haven't posted much lately, I've definitely been following along! So, so sorry to hear that Bruce wasn't feeling well. Poor guy! I sure hope he got better and was able to enjoy the rest of the trip.

Oh don't worry at all! I'm just glad you're keeping along with my TR! :goodvibes

Yeah, that whole sicky thing with Bruce was awful... but unfortunately that story does not end here. Wah. :(

Thank you so much! I'm still getting better at taking photos but some of them came out pretty fabulous I thought! AK at night IS AMAZING. I'm telling you, if you ever have a chance, check it out because it's beyond worth it!

Hahaha, I'm posting here in a few minutes about it!

Caught up!

Ok, So far in your TR you've eaten at 2 of the places I plan to in May/June. Raglan Road and Cape May Clam Bake! I've been to Raglan Road several times but Cape May with be a first!

So sad that Bruce isn't feeling well! Hopefully after a day of rest he was feeling better.

I'm also hopeful your crowds died down!
