We arrive on 10 May in the Disney resort. I thought that I could call on 10 November and make all my dining reservations.
So from 10 until 16 May.
Now I read on another board that I must call every day to make my reservations. So 10 November for 10 May and 11 November for 11 May and so further.
Could anyone please tell me if this is true ???

Are you staying onsite? In a Disney hotel? If so, you can make all of your ressies in one phone call (up to 10 days worth) at the 180 day mark from the first day of your hotel reservation.

Yes we stay at the Grand Floridian so that would not be a problem??

I received an E mail from the GF that I just had to mail my wishes and they would be pleased to make our dinning reservation for us.

But As I read your post I can book tomorrow all my dining wishes with one phone call.
Imagine what it would cost if I had to phone from Europe every day :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I didn't know this either-- I thought you had to call every day too-- thanks for posting!

On the 180th day, I always call and book my ADRs with one phone call. I've never heard of the call everyday thing, unless you are trying for an ADR that is not available and hoping for a cancellation.

Sjaakie, I don't know who's your phone provider (KPN is terrible with their rates), but it isn't expensive to call Disney. You don't want to know how many times I called to get ADR's, change them etc. And my bills? About 1 maybe 2 euros per month for the 1 or more hours I was on the phone per month. (multikabel standaard tarief).

The mail you recieved is from the concierge desk, I think. If I remember correct you're staying concierge and one of the services they offer you is taking care of the ADR's, while staying concierge. If you read around a bit on the DIS, you'll find out that concierge will actually get ADR's people weren't able to get themselves. This might be something to think about if you're not one of those persons who wants to be in charge of the actual booking.

You can book for all the days during your stay at that first 180 days before day, unless you would be staying at 2 different resorts (which are 2 reservations). HOWEVER!! 6 months in advance, like you are now applying is more than 180 days. Remember, a year has 364 days. December has 31 days, as do january and march. Februari has 29 in 2009, but that would leave you with 182 days left instead of 180. Disney counts 180 days, so it might just be they'll tell you 'wait another couple of days, not 6 months but 180 days in advance'.

And you can call Disney Dining today, tell them what day you're arriving, and ask what date you can call for your dining reservations.

If you are staying at a DISNEY property, You can call on the 180th day from your arrival and make all your ADRs for up to a ten day stay on that same call.
In your case you are so you are all set.

For that time, I think it's absolutely necessary to make ADRS ASAP only if you want a reservation at peak mealtimes in extremely popular restaurants (Le Cellier, CRT, Chef Mickey's).

I don’t care about the rates. I’m always in Germany,Switzerland,Belgium ore France so I always call expensive. I call my mom on my mobile phone from any country and chat away easily for an hour but the problem is sometimes my connexions is very bad ore for hours no service as we are in an lonely districts with limited service.

And I made a mistake I called two days before the 180 days rule. BUT TODAY IS THE DAY.
So please keep your fingers crossed.:wizard:
